National Teams

I've been playing the PES series ever since I bought the 2nd in the series (PES2 for the PS2). I have enjoyed them, and I feel they have been the realistic and best football games around. I particularly like the individual attention on certain players, for example, on PES2, Beckham's free-kick style, and goal celebration.

However, I have a query as regards the National teams on the game. I like to do all the continental cups (European Cup, Africa Cup, etc), and play alot with all the National teams on the game, particularly in the International Tournament. I have noticed that in the series some National teams have been added (Latvia, Israel, Angola, etc), but others have been taken out (Jamaica, Morocco, etc), seemingly to accomodate the new teams. I have thought maybe it is to do with the PS2's memory capacity, that all these teams cannot fit into the game, but the PS3's is much bigger, and surely there is room for a large selection of teams. From my point of view, it doesn't really make sense to add teams, but take away. A big selection of National teams will improve the Africa, Asia, and America cups, which start off at the quarter-finals, when there really should be group stages. It will also benefit the Master League, as there will be an even larger pool of players to buy from.

For all I know there could be a good reason, for not a big amount of national teams in the Africa, Asia, and America's category, and the removing and adding of certain teams. I was just wondering whether it was an issue that could be addressed, and it could make an already good series of football games, even better.

Yes I have always been an advocate of proper international tournaments such as African Cup of Nations, AFC Asian Cup, Copa America and Gold Cup. I would love to see the correct competion formats for these and also for them to be correctly licensed. This shouldn't be so hard since there not FIFA competitions... Also the addition of more Asian, African and North/Central American national teams would be a great addition maybe along with Oceana so you get New Zealand in the game. Who have a strong chance of being in the World Cup in 2010. More teams more licenses is what I want to see... give FIFA a real run for there money.

I did not noticed no improvements on National Teams on PESPES such as most their real faces, Kits and missing teams. I hope Konami do something about that, not just clubs.

I am talking about PES 2014. Why? How hard is to add more national teams instead of substitution, I real like a dlc with some lose team like Angola.

I have been a fan of PES ever since 5 or 6,I used to only buy Winning eleven but ever since i live in overseas, thought english version would be better so that i could play with multinationals, however, this time it juz happen to not have Japan national team on PES version was abit of a setback....
