Need a ML Question Answered, please help!

I'm living in the US, patiently waiting for WE8 to arrive on Tuesday, but I have a question that I hope someone will answer (Pro Evo players please help!). My question is simple: If I start a Master League I've heard that I can't play in a singular league (like the Premiereship), unless I unlock a special league editor from the pes shop. How many points must I unlock? How does it work? And after I use it, can I set it up to have all 20 English league teams in my Master's League and then only play teams from other leagues in European Cups (assuming I can qualify for them)? When you do this can you still trade for players in all leagues?

Well, I know it's a lot, but again, I really appreciate the help.

Thanks guys,

If I start a Master League I've heard that I can't play in a singular league (like the Premiereship),

You can create the Premiership, but it has to have 16 teams in it, and yes you have to unlock the "league editor" to do this.

I've just completed my first season in the Master League, I never bothered with the Master Leagues in the previous versions but tried this one out, and it's really addictive.

There are four "top" leagues, and one division 2.

*League A (16 teams)
*League B (16 teams)
*League C (16 teams)
*League D (16 teams)

Division 2 (8 teams)

If you don't unlock the league editor in the PES Shop then you will start in Division 2, which has eight teams. Also the leagues are random. So like Mancester United could be in AC Milan's league.

The only thing you do choose from the start is what top league you will get promoted to. Then the teams that finish in the top two from your division will always get promoted to that league, and from that league two teams will get relegated into Division 2. The other three leagues will just act as foreign leagues on their own.

I think it's 2000 PES points to unlock the league editor (it's called Master League tuning in the game :), which isn't a lot really.

What I did when I got the league editor was rename the leagues

*League A (16 teams) = Serie A
*League B (16 teams) = Premiership
*League C (16 teams) = La Liga
*League D (16 teams) = Eridiversie (Dutch league)

Obviously for each league I just picked the best 16 clubs from each country, i.e Crystal Palace, West Brom, Portsmouth (don't like them) and Norwich failed to get in the Prem.

I then picked to go Sampdoria and chose the three worst Italian clubs, and four worst Spanish clubs to go into Division 2 and picked League A (Serie A) as the promotion league.

It's realistic to tell you the truth, I'm normally one for realism.

First season on ***** stars difficulty level, I've won the Division 2 and the Division 2 Cup. I'm in pre-season now. training my players :D It kind of reminds of of Sensible World Of Soccer on the Amiga, where you could buy and sell players.

You can qualify for the European Cup/Champions League, I think it's called WEFA Cup. But I haven't obviously done that yet so you'll have to ask someone else for that.

You can play in the Premiership with 20 teams but not in the master league.

------
I hope someone doesn't come along and say "you can have 20 teams in each league". Or that will p1ss me off :(. But I've read the manuel and it seems that it's just limited to 16.

To Qualify for WEFA Champions you must complete the one season of ML and be ranked 16 or higher in the WEFA Ranking.

To Qualify for WEFA Master Cup, you must ranked 3rd or 4th during the qualification of WEFA Champions. In a nutshell, you must lose the group matches of WEFA Champions.

Living In Canada!!!

Just a couple more days, can't wait.
1)) Anyways more ML questions for you pro's. I hope someone will answer them, I'm just joansing for this game!!! I've read lots of post stating that players get called up for INTL play within the ML seasons on this edition (WE8I). So I need someone to tell me deeper about how it works. Are we qualifying for some kind of INTL CUP(s) or WEFA WORLD CUP that might happen every 4 seasons in the game etc.
2)) Do we play these games or are they simulated etc?
3)) Do COM teams seem to receive inujries more frequently or are they 88% superhuman 12% man? (which would make COM teams rotate starting line-ups more adding even more realism to this wonderful game).
4)) Hows the MANUAL for this game? I hope they give a decent decription/instruction on "how to does" and Icons etc.

1) no, a couple of your players will randomly get called up for international duty, leaving you without their services for a week. it's pretty annoying as they usually leave for important matches and in weeks where you're playing both league and cup matches.
2) th games are just simulated, you don't even get to see the result, and i've yet to see a player return from international duty injured.
3) unsure about this as i usually don't clock up too many fouls in the matches i play
4) manual's about as helpful as pro ev 3, although you can now access a control listing on the pause menu which is quite useful.

hope that helps

YOu can always check your manual for the weeks that players are going to leave for international dutie. Its four times a year. in week 8, 12, 20, and 28. Oh well thats probably useless information. So here is some more. I Live in the states and have PES4. I got it off EBAY from someone in Australia. And got the slide card and Magic Disk. Works perfectly for me. Exceot the first time I played it, it was in black and white. Eh
