need for help (keyboard)

i have a PC version of PES 2008
does anybody know how can i assign the key "space" as one of the keys
comments:
when i open "settings" it shows me a "XBOX" controller and when i press one of the Buttons it shows a box that says "press any key" but when i press "space" to assign it the box disapears and no key is assigned to the desired button.
the same happens when i want to assign the key "ENTER"

U cant assign those buttons.

but in the previous version
i could assign them with some tricks and unfortunately those tricks dont work any more.
plz help me cos i get used to them.

I have the same problem. Did you figure out a way to assign the space bar key? Thx!
