I'm having trouble with my formation. It's the first time I am playing in Master League and I've seen some good tips on this site for buying new players etc etc. Wich players to buy and wich not.
I'm still playing on Professional, I'm thinking about turning it up to Top Player in a while but I can't even manage Professional at the moment.
But I've got a few questions:
- First of all.
My SB keeps switching positions with my SMF.
It's very annoying because they can't attack properly at all and it leaves gaps in my defence when the opponent makes a counter attack.
Also (when defending) my CB will sometimes come up way to early. And he will stay there, basically on the midfield chasing opponents that aren't relevant at all for him.
How can I make them stick to their positions more?
- Second of all.
When my players are all over the place and out of position like mentioned above. It seems like passing a ball towards a player right next to me becomes very difficult.
For example when I manage to get my SB near the corner flag, he will refuse to pass a ball back to a CF again.
He will only pass towards midfielders that are behind him but they're not the ones who are properly positioned to receive a pass coming from near the corner flag.
In this case they're not long passes. I'm still able to make a long cross into the CF's position. But if I advance along the corner flag and the opponent's back line, I'm not able to pass back to the CF's again.
Who are RIGHT IN FRONT OF GOAL most of the times.
My SB will only attempt to pass back to my DMF. Wich obviously doesn't work.
So how can I solve this problem.
I've read something about manual passing, in a manual that I've got.
Does this actually work?

Also, I've bought alot of new players.
I'm into my second season at the moment.
And my formation is usually:
---------------------------------------------------------------------
-----------------------Schwarz(SS)---Gignac(SS)--------------------
---------------------------------------------------------------------
------Camacho(LMF)------------------------------Tmorautki(RMF)----
---------------------------------------------------------------------
-------------------Marchisio(CMF)------------------------------------
--------------------------------------Dodo(DMF)--------------------
---------------------------------------------------------------------
----El Moubarki(SB)----------------------------------Guimera(SB)----
---------------------Kompany(CB)---Cuthberth(CB)-------------------
Schwarz and Gignac are just awesome. They can maintain possesion for quite a while. Also, both players have proven to be good headers and they have a great shot as well.
But Camacho seems very weak to me for example.
I got big formation issues because of this because I just can't really trust on him to be a reliable SMF.
Then I've got Shimizu in the reserves because.. it might appear to be an "agile" SMF, but in reality he's just crap as well. He can't maintain posession for more than a second or so...
And Kaiser has "amazing attacking qualities".
Well at least, that's what the statistics say.
Because I don't know where attacking skills come into practice.
I only know that he sometimes passes more accurate that other players.
So maybe someone can tell me how I can get more out of this selection of players. Because they seem to be very good, in a statistic kind of way but they kind of disappoint me in the game. And especially Shimizu.
I thought he would prove to be alot better to be honest.
