I really want to have a team with all my favourite players but I can't seem to make money tp sign new players because the contracts mess me up

It'll be hard like that forever if you don't enter any competitions. Try that. Only by playing regular matches will help you keep your team afloat, nothing more... Enter competitions, and even if you don't make the qualifying round, stay in that competition until it ends because you will receive a prize considering your final position, even outside the top 16 that make it through. If you make it through, you'll get money for every game played and in the K.O. round, and your players play "for free", huge difference.

Just a quick tip to help you out, for freekicks you have to hit the right bar. 18-20 m should be down+square, 21-above to the left should be up+right+square, picture your player running up then SNAP at the ball. If the ball is place on the right side, and its 21m-above then it should be place in the top right corner.
