New and Improved FIX mode in PES4

1.

Press R2 to make your team-mate pass to you. Nice inclusion. I played as a keeper for a bit and even made someone pass to me from near the halfway line.

In FIX mode you can use a new camera option where the camera focuses on your player only. This can be done with all cameras in the game, including the new ones.

2. Some screens of playing in fix mode from the point of view of a player (I used Ronaldinho):





You can play on manual control (not FIX) and it switches player very quickly. Difficult to play like this but it looks nice.





The can use the new Sky camera for FIX too:



Some pics are a bit blurry/fuzzy as the game moves too fast for my camera.

Nice Zyg, i really like that second pic ronaldinho.. could you imagine playing a season like this or is it just for fun now and then. In other words, does it play too fast and crazy or not?

kl thanx zyg, thats well kl as the fix mode in pes3 was pretty crap cos u had to try and follow ur player on radar when he was off the ball

This looks cool but I guess this is only when you are playin with fix by yourself and not with mates.

FIX mode has been in the game since WE7 I believe.
In the player/controller select screen, keep pressing L1 for your controller and it goes from auto to manual to FIX. Then in the formation screen, it will ask you which player you want to control.

Looks quality but... what if two people try and play fix mode at the same time? Me and a mate always used to do this, now with the new camera it seems it would be difficult

When choosing the camera focus for any playing mode, you can select either the ball, Player 1 or Player 2 (and so on for other players). So the one you select will be the centre of attention and the other player will have to try his best using the scanner or what he can see of himself in your camera.

I guess that multiplayer FIX mode would be best played using the camera focussed on the ball. Unless everyone is playing in the same area, eg both defenders - so you could focus on one player and the other would be OK as long as they stayed close together. The player point-of-view cam probably only works well for one FIX player.
Maybe if you can hook up 2 PS2s together, you can use the camera focussed on your own player - one view of each player on each TV?

a few questions:

1.Zygalski i was playing winning eleven 8 today and i couldnt find the sky view is it on winning eleven 8?

2.it looks like for fix mode that you have a camera angle that follows the player from behind so your always looking in front, couldnt find this view either, is this on winning eleven 8 aswell?

3.in the picture it says press L1 and direction to point camera in direction of movement, couldnt get this to work.I was holding L1 and pressing the direction buttons and nothing happend apart from my player moving around.Could you explain this in more detail for me please Zyg?

1. Sky view needs to be bought from the shop.
2. Player cam needs to be bought from the shop too.
3. Need to be using the player cam to do this I guess (see no.2).
