Eidos announces that the new Official Championship Manager Magazine will be available from March 2nd. In a unique offering the magazine will be available online totally free-of-charge.

The Official Championship Manager Magazine boasts a world exclusive look at Championship Manager 5, including the first ever screenshots. As well as containing information on the game’s new features and key improvements, there is a competition to be a scout in the game, the chance to win a days testing at the development studio and a guide on how to get the best from Championship Manager: Season 03/04.

To receive the magazine you simply have to register on the official Championship Manager website at www.championshipmanager.co.uk; people who have already registered on the site will be sent it automatically. In addition, people who register will be entered into a draw to win a UK National football shirt of their choice. One winner will be drawn every day until April 1st.

John Davis, European marketing director at Eidos says:
“By offering the magazine free we want to give something back to the fans as well as trying to spread the gospel of Championship Manager as far and wide as possible. Distributing the magazine online also enables us to ensure that the content is bang up to date."

I'm pretty certain Football Manager 2005 will be the better of the two games, but it's good to have competition.

You're right though, they're just trying to make sure people don't ignore it and buy SI's offering

It will be a 1.8ghz Duron 512mb DDR RAM, And heres the case i am getting

Yeah but i only have a budget of 170 quid- for that i am getting a 1.8ghz cpu, Motherboard, cpu cooler, case and 512 DDR

WTF!..When i did have a 766mhz celeron with 512 SDRAM i think a 1.8ghz with 512DDR is alot better don't you!!! And my pc is broken so i need one!

yeah, you might think its good now but it'll be shit this time next year. 1.8ghz really isnt that much these days. should be looking for 2.6 at least.

and the case isnt that good, its got a cd stuck in the back of it

i dont know about prices in the UK but in Australia Athlon XP's are dirt cheap.. and will blow any Duron out of the water... you should investiagte Giggsy

Well this is the thing, I did have a 766mhz Celeron and 512mb SD Ram, That computer broke so under the advice of an I.T guy from work i went on www.overclockers.co.uk to get new parts, I mainly needed a new motherboard and then i also needed a cpu, and new case (cos mine was too small) Memory and a cpu fan, all of this comes to £160.04 and this is all i could afford until next month and i am now broke , And i am using the excisting Video card i had with my own pc (32MB ) but i will be getting a 64mb which i know is not good but its better than 32mb, And ash have you had that case before???
