New Design Suggestion Thread

OK, I tried to listen to what you were asking for in the other thread... and here is the proposed new layout.

It is much cleaner than the current design in my opinion, and will allow us to have far greater content. However, is there anything about it you'd like to see changed? If enough people agree on something then it will be changed.

Note that at the moment the news is just pulling from the announcements forum. Once everything is set up there will be dedicated PES news there.

I like that alot, but do you know there's a black square to the right of "latest forum posts" or is that just my PC?

I don't know if this was the kind of suggestion you were meaning but i think a black skin would be cool to get back....I'm really sorry if you meant something else .

I don't like it, cant put my finger on what it is. I think the current homepage is much nicer than that. The new contents a good additon, e.g. - latest football headlines, just dont like the layout, too simple/boring for me.

News area has now been modified.

It's meant to be simple cracky - it makes for easier use. I get sick of people not being to find things

I think it would be better without the white thing around the avatars,you can make nicer avatars and it looks odd the way it is now..

well ireckon the latest forum post has to be more obvious i had a hardtime locating it...and more spaces needs to be given to it

I assumed the way you were talking you didn't know what the new posts button did... I'm pretty sure 99% of the forum users won't use that front page latest forum section. And well if they do it's silly because you can get all the new posts and not just 5 from the new posts button.

I like all the avatars having a white and grey border... it adds consistency. What browser are you using though? It looks a little different to mine.

Yeah I agree, I prefer it with the grey border.

I don't think that the colour scheme should be changed as this is how it has been since I joined and also these colours go well together.
