i mean look at the latest Video's that are released by EA regarding FIFA09. All they talk about is how they went out in the community and actually listened to what customers had to say. Now that's good marketing.

Yea but that won't be happening with Pro Evo as we all know Konami are way to lazy. :crymore:

Bayern Munich gets the boot? Fuuuccckk that. Peice of shit club takes its place. FUCK OFF

What I find ridiculous is all the talk about "Arshavin".. Who cares!! with a proper Edit Mode I could easily create him and Zenit.

Bayern Munich, and Werder Bremen -would- have been more appreciated.

Oh and again, How great is it to hear that They will be including Arshavin (Zenit) in the game -but- will NOT feature the Champions League.. Is that something Positive??

And it's also nice to hear yet again, that PES08 was an unfinished product, a waste of money.

7v7 is a strong rumour heard by the guy, not confirmed but vastly improved online play is. the spanish league is there with fully licensed teams, whether la liga is fully licensed as a league itself he didnt mention.

Zenith replaced Bayern, there was no arshavin talk other than the fact that he played for zenith & they'd improved his stats slightly after his euro display. Was just something he said.

There's no doubt I'll buy it, as I always do, perhaps cos I'm a mug, I don't know. But I love the game.

I did read on a link on another thread about the MP3 option, a rumour at best I'm sure and then further down it mentioned additional editing features being the ability to adjust calf and thigh measurements. Possibly the gayest addition they could have come up with in fairness.

there are a few more additions to the edit mode, new branded boots & balls and stuff but he didnt mention exactly which brands so i dont want to speculate. i agree, thigh & calf measurements?? why???

Guess it adds ever so slightly to the realism but still, think they could have concentrated their efforts elsewhere.

Ah well, I'm not gonna turn into one of these moaning cunts who expect a perfect game every year and think Konami read these forums and shit themselves when someone says they'll buy FIFA.

That's the problem, they should check the PES forums, something they evidently don't do. If they did, I've no doubt that the PES series would be so much better as they'd understand exactly what the majority of the community want. This includes PESFan, Evo-Web and now PELLUK. It seems EA are now checking their community opinions, and this is working as recently the FIFA series seems to be improving.

I was just exaggerating about "the Arshavin Talk.." -but- why didn't he talked about the Gameplay?? The only thing he said was that the "AI in Defence and Attack is massively improved".

I mean, isn't that what they always say? "AI has been massively improved"..

Anyways, I just find it odd that he barely talked about the Gameplay.

It might sound gay, but I bet the players will look more realistic now.

However, I would rather see more Significant Features such as; New Controls, New Player Attributes (Stats), A New Dribbling System, etc, etc..

Features that CAN actually improve the Gameplay and make it more realistic.

You're right in a way man but how are they gonna please everyone?

I get what you're saying though, it would do them a whole lot of good if they took feedback on board and what the hardcore fans want but at the end of the day the people who moan will inevitably still buy the game.

Yeah that's true -BUT- it is also true that at the end of the day, the people who still buy the same game with updated kits year after year.. are the REASON for Why Konami keeps releasing slightly touched-up games.

It's cheap and profitable.. why Not?? The fans who "inevitably still buy the game" consistently give Konami a License to keep releasing the same game year after year.

Konami should really start looking at forums, and take particular interest in their hardcore fans -because- really, for How long can they keep this going??

Maybe back in the PS2, they had the legit excuse that the PS2 was NOT capable of more -but- What are they going to say NOW?? How can they possibly justify that a PS3 version of PES is actually worst than the PS2 versions?

How can they justify that PES08 haves the same exact set (system) of Stats and Special abilities that PES4 had?? The same Controls, a worthless Editing Mode, etc, etc.. Is this Next Gen?? A touched-up version of PES6 with good Graphics? Surely, many fans of the series will inevitably grow up.

Honestly, if I had the opportunity of testing the game at Leipzig -only- to quickly realize it is just a version of PES6 with good Graphics.. I wouldn't be that disappointed. At least it would be playable and addictive.

However, in my opinion Konami cannot keep this going with PES 2010.. it would be simply unacceptable. I will certainly NOT waste my money on a tweaked version of PES09 by 2010.

Anyways, would love to be there at Leipzig.. I hope someone's honest enough to tell us if it's just as arcadish as PES08 -or- more of the same Old (PES4, PES5, PES6, etc..) -or- Something Different (New).
