New Master League questions?

ok.....i don't know about valuable disc space cause...they do have tourments and leagues with 2 or more players playing with diff. teams.....but i wouldn't comment on that as i don't know how much programming would go into that...

on the part about will be too boring while ur friend plays his games and while u play urs...i don't think so...maximum amount of time u'll need to sit out is 5 mins...and if he has his games together then 10 mins..at max...and if u would be playing in the same league those matches would anyways have some importance to ur position in the league....and i wouldn't mind it...

if ur banking on the fact that it would take too long....then videogames is not ur thing..use ur valuable time somewhere else..

anyway....if ur playing 10 seasons on ur own...it would be like playing 4 to 5 with a friend....its ur time...do what u want with it...

I like games, dont get me wrong, but sometimes playing for half an hour and finishing a season in a week or two is not that bad.

1. player stats(goals, assists) specific to rival clubs...before match...
2. scores frm prior encounters...
3. highest win..
4. worst loss..
5. longest streak. wins and losses.

You've pretty much said all the stats I can think of. A little thing I wouldnt mind though would be an announcer you could actually hear instead of this blur you get after you score.

For example "And the goal scorer for Arsenal is number 10 or Henry". Then the crowd could go nuts. Another thing would be music after you score, like you get at pretty much every club.

Yes it would take longer, so what? As I stated before the madden franchise has pulled this off, and it is a huge reason for it's popularity.

I don't think it would be that hard to implement, as they do have multiplayer modes in tournament formats and so on, I'm not a programmer, but I'll bet that it could be done.

Here's how I see it, you can complete more or less meaningless seasons one after another quickly, and get every player you could ever want on your squad without any problem, unless you're telling me that you actually struggle to beat the cpu? Do you? I don't think many people do.
Or you could play with your friends and have actual competition, isn't that the point - having a challenge? Assuming that you have friends to play with of course, and if you don't then one player ML would still be an option

There is nothing wrong with the idea, it adds multiple dimensions to the game.

I think this is all going a wee bit too far now.

One thing that definitely needs to be changed in ML is how other clubs distribute the shirt numbers. After a few seasons you get GK's that are number 7 and stuff a few seasons in and its really unrealistic. It annoys me when defenders are number 10 or 11 as well....grr.

There needs to be a system like:

GK's = 1 or any number above 11
DF's = 2, 3, 4, 5, 6 or any number above 11
MF's = 4, 5, 6, 7, 8, 9, 10, 11 or any number above 11
ST's = 7, 8, 9, 10, 11 or any number above 11

The whole point in master league is to have your own team, and do what you want with it. I don't want my mates jumping in and fucking about. What if 4 of you were playing? 5mins is too short for a match, so you go for 10. That's roughly an hour before you even advance one week! What is so clever about that? You'll get bored so quickly I can guarantee you.

If I want to play with my mates I play a tournament, like the world cup which is a lot more fun then being dragged through a whole master league with up to 7 other people. And here you are banging on about how playing the CPU is so shit and without a challenge,well if that's the case why do these games even exist? What if you are an only child? Or what if your mates have (unsuprisingly) better things to do then to come round your house every day to play a sodding game of pro evo?

What is everyone's problem with it being an option ? If you dont want it dont use it !

Can you imagine if it was an option for online ? You could do it with your mates so that each round of games was played simultaneously whether it be against the cpu or against one of your friends - then people wouldnt have to wait longer than they would normally. If it was between friends who could all agree on when they played - there could also be an agreed time period between games to do training transfers etc - the cpu could control this- wouldnt be too hard to organise.

Also what about if your friends came around on a regular basis you could have the ML set up on one machine whilst on another you played custome leagues or something. For some peoplke like me I dont really care how long the leagues take - it would be cool though to have serious competition with your friends and the fact that you are all in competition to sign the same players etc
