I would like to have all European teams in the game, even the weak ones like Andorra or Luxemburg, you could play the elimination round for the big tournaments like the European Championships. And there should be only a couple of non-European teams like Brazil, Argentina or Nigeria. Why are there any Asian teams in the European version of the game. That's s***!!! And the same thing with the club teams, we in Europe don´t need Palmeiras or Vasco da Gama, more English or Italian teams would be better.

I gotta tell you larsson that I agree with you. Just saying that I´m creating a patch with an editor which will include all 51 European Nations and the only non-European teams that appear are Brazil, Argentina, Australia, New Zealand and Canada. The matter is that I'm making it with Pes2 for PSONE.

You can't play a proper world cup without non-european teams and I like playing many different world cups.
There is a WE6:FE patch full of classic teams from Benfica '60 to Man Utd of 90-something and Madrid, Liverpool etc with England and others.

The game needs a good number of teams to represent each continent. China, Saudi and USA were all in World cup 2002 (USA had a blinder!). Iran are a decent side and were in France 98. The irish found them a difficult opponent qualifying for Japan/Korea.
The point is all of these teams belong here, and more from around the world otherwise it might as well be Euro Evo Soccer 3 and thats when things would get dull.
Im not keen on Classic sides being included from the start. They should be unlocked as in PES2 otherwise there`s no reward for winning tournaments.

Pro Evolution Soccer is an European game, you have WE in Asia and WE International in America. And because of that there shouldn't be to many non-European teams, e.g. look at the club teams, there is no Porto or Celta Vigo(top European teams) in the game, but you've f***ing brazilian or argentinian teams, I hate that.
As you can see on the different patches like Dynamo or WeDoIt, most of the Europeans only like European football. I've nothing against different teams from other continents in the game, but first I want to have all European national teams, it's strange for me that it's the European version of the game but you don't have all European countries in there while some weak Asian teams are in.
I guess you'll be looking forward to pes3 then... its club roster has been expanded considerably. And should suit your euro needs.
I dont mind the southamerican teams. They add flavour, and these teams are usually as good or even better than european teams, which they have proven again and again, winning the fifa club world cup etc.
And i like having saudi arabia in there along with outher teams, i would much rather have those teams in than luxembourg, andorra, san marino and other totally annoying irrelevant teams. Saudi at least plays football compared to those teams.
And imho the fifa world rankings should have nothing to do with the teams that get put in the game, i have to this date never heard of any person who actually considers this list good or even accurate!
Edit: And i hope they remove the classic teams to make room for (even) more club teams!

I totally agree with most people here that only european club sides should be included in the game, non of this j-league or american 'soccer' teams shite.
However, most european sides are full of players from overseas, many from big footballing nations such as Brazil, Argentina and Nigeria. But there are also many players from smaller footballing nations playing in europe now, for instance the french league is full of African players from the likes of Ghana, Guinea, Ivory Coast etc, so why not stick a few more of these national sides in. There are also quite a few players from eastern european sides such as Georgia that are in Master League club sides, so half of their team is probably already in the game.
More national teams would spice up the Master League, if anything by increasing the database of players to potentially sign for your team.

By the way, whats the betting that when WE7/PES3 are released the Serbia and Montenegro national side will still be called Yugoslavia. It wouldnt surprise me seeing as Konami often push out the boundaries of slackness when it comes to keeping their football games up to date.
