17.october

Bonsoir !

PES3 is apparently coming 17. october.....any view on this....anybody?...Zygalski?.....

Pes3 final release will be very updated after what i've heard. Makelele will for example be at Chelsea.
You can also play with a club team against a national team... but this is maybe old news.

This will be Real Madrids starting line-up, can't get much better than this:

Casillas

Salgado Hierro Pavon Carlos

Cambiasso

Zidane
Beckham Figo

Raul
Ronaldo

And Yes, after what i've heard by my contact at a gameshop, Juventes will also be licensed, like AC Milan.

Maybe when the players are in good form, we now can see what the good form has an affect to.

The little arrows appear when you are about to swap 2 players around. It shows you a comparison of the players stats.
A yellow arrow shows who is a little better and
a red one shows which one is more than 10 points better for each stat.

Pitch Size

Does anyone know if the actual pitch size for each stadium will be different in length and width etc?

like say old trafford should have alot more width than say highbury.

doubt it m8 - u probably wouldn't notice that anyway

it would be good thou dude cos if your winning formation has wingers then playing at highbury would cause you a few problems due to the lack of width so you would have to have another trick up your sleeve

I've always thought the pitches should have different sizes, it would make a difference to tactics, ambiance etc......

Another thing, are the PES2 pitches too small?.......they always seem so, particualry when there are loadsa players in and around the box.

Is the Bernabou (Real Madrid's) stadium in PES3?
I dont think it was in PES2

does anyone know if the licenced teams will have updated kits for the final release? as Roma no longer have that kappa strip..i think its diadora now.... the teams like lazio and juve have the new kits...

also has anyone heard if any more teams will be licenced, it seems that they are nearly all italian, what about the premiership or spain etc?

Now that adidas have officially licenced the game will there be more balls to buty in the pes shop? i think i remember someone saying you could buy new types in WE7..

The game is looking pretty tasty, i cant quite tell if this pic shows maybe individual in game movements are included, but it is quite like becks distinctive style of crossing anyway.... the predators look class tho!

To all you guys that have PES3 and WE7 what is AI like?

DO defenders still run away from the danger area, do they mark each other, and is their first reaction to step forward when they are selected?

Also I have heard mixed opinions on ball control, is it easy to dribble with the ball, or is it dependent on a player’s skill?

Would you say the game is heading towards realism whilst maintaining the entertainment factor?

Cheers, I hope to have the demo shortly so I will be able to make up my own opinions, but until then I have got to rely on you peeps

Thanks!!!

AI is mostly good. It is hard to break down the defence. Defenders do not run away to create space but they do tend to pack the box and get in the way of a lot of the shots.

Dribbling is harder than in PES2 but there is an element of better control with good players. You won't be dribbling past half the team to score though.

I think the game is very realistic and great entertainment too!

The GAME demo won't give you a great idea of the play due to the settings and the difficulty but you should be able to tell that it is a great game.

Sounds good, especially the dribbiling bit. I have no doubt that PES3 will be a good game, just a slight improvement on PES2 would of made a good game, it sounds like they (Kanomi) have done much more than that.

Thanks Zyg!

PES3 will definitely not have online play. But it may have downloadable content such as new players/updated stats. This option isnt in the beta but it was available in WE7 so it should be in by release.
