Phil, you need to sort out whether you are talking about ML mode or not.

eksol, in PES3 there is a proper champions league for ML mode (16 teams) just like WE7.

I'm talking about the cup-mode. in ML u can only play 1 team, I want to play a whole season with 16 teams-or more- like in the konami-umbro cup on pes2 , but home & away. And I'd also like 2 play something like a champions' league. In pes1 you could for instance play a whole world cup with all the games by yourself by selecting which team to play in the player settings on the menu screen before the match. U could no longer do this on pes2, can u do this again on pes3 and use it also for clubs?

League mode is playable for National or Club teams (but not a mixture).
You can play a champions league but I think only once against each team in the group stage.
Yes you can select the controller settings during a cup/league, before a match and during a match too.

Thank u very much to take the time to answer my questions. I really regreted that pes2 did not allow u to select the player settings during competitions (only in exhibition games). I have no doubt that the gameplay, also-I sincerely hope so- the club editing have improved, but I'd really like 2 play a whole 2-legs season with every team as well as a champions' league and uefa cup with all 32 teams.. If league mode is available for clubs and if u can select the controller settings during a cup or a league I'm allready very happy..

I've just checked the league mode on pes2 and u can only play 1 team at a time. I'de like to find a way to play more teams in 2 player mode, in a cup or a league, but with the option to choose which team u'll play if u're alone. And besides on the umbro-cup, is it possible to play 2 legs games in leagues or is there only the stupid round-robin solution? I know I'm asking a lot but I'm a real freak of the game, and when u have a littlle time to waste wouldn't it be nice to play a full season or a full champions' league with every team? I'm sure u guys will understand me ........

In PES3 do players have there unique way of celebration? Such as Ronaldo doing the Airplane, then sticking his index finger and jiggling and pointing it around? Rivaldo taking off his jersey ,wearing his singlet then using his jersey as a lasoo, Ronaldinho doing a samba dance?

Zygalski let me just straight things out. I don't know I'm a little bit lost here..let's put ML aside, does PES3 include a cup mode called WEFA Cup which is UEFA Champions League Cup. You go to a menu and select it and play it right away...or you have to go through ML. ??

Ronaldo, yes. Rivaldo, no. Ronaldinho, no.
This question was answered a couple of pages back. Go back and check.

Odd question right here. How is the "Net Bulge" when you score a goal? On PES1, the bulge was about right....but on PES2, when yo scored the net physics didnt seem very natural....too "stiff" ......

If you could make any sense of that, then an answer would be greatly appreciated.

The WEFA cup is a comnpetition which takes place at the end of every ML season between the top teams in each regional league. You cant select it from the mode select menu, you have to play the master league.

It's quite good. On the odd occasion, the netting stretches out too far but, generally, fine. Speaking of goals, the sounds in PES3 of the ball hitting the bar or post are much better then those in WE7.

Yeah. Its hard to describe but its more of a thud compared to WE7's pinging sound. I have explained this really bad :(

Couple of questions not sure whether they been asked

1. Are the loading times better in the full game than in the demo (they weren't that bad in the demo but they were faster on PES2)

2. How many unique animations are there that you've noticed eg. in a ps2 mag it says Henrys runs are recreated perfectly, are there any more

3. What are some of the english club call names available

I'd appreciate if someone could answer these for me and sorry if they have already been asked :)

Weather is the same as in PES2 but the rainy days are more misty looking.
Most of the English clubs have the correct call-name except for Arsenal. And you can use 'City' for Man City.

Loading times are about the same as in the demo. So we'll just have to get used to them. Several players have their animations. I noticed that Casillas moves a lot like him today.
