New PES3 Advertising Campaign - Scanned Pics

So there I was on the train reading the MCV mag and I thought "what the heck is this pie doing on the cover anyways??"

So I shut the mag and checked it out. I was shocked!!
It's a 4 page cover spread advert for PES3. I nearly didn't notice it.

Q1. So what do you think? Are you impressed with this?

Q2. Do you think they had to pay to use Roy Keane's name and quote? Was it worth it?

Q3. Anyone believe all the "Marketing Plans" will be made into reality? If they do go through with all this, it should be Good!

Q4. Who ate all the pies?

This took me Ages to scan, stick together and resize so I hope someone at least checks this thread out!

A1) there ermm slitly odd to say the leaset, but hay it could work.

A2) i hope not! sound like some thing he say when hes drunk.

I hate prawns, so I'm not too impressed but hey, any publicity is good publicity, and given the lack of licencing compared to FIFA I guess there's only so much they can do.

I think it's definitely odd. At least they went for something a little out of the ordinary and not some dreary "Pro Evolution Soccer 3 RULZ!" line.

I don't think they paid Keane for the quote. If they did, it was a waste.

The 'Marketing Plans' look promising. Let's hope they fulfil them.

I cannot say I am impressed with this. As you said yourself Zyg, you just noticed it and it is 4 pages!!! I mean come on, a prawn sarnie and a pie. I think Konami's marketing team should be sacked. Idiots!

to be honest i thought the pes2 advertising campaign was better. "if football is your religion, worship at the ultimate altar". Quality. The new one kinda sucks.

I like the page with the big pie i think thats good and pretty funny i dunno bout the rest though, whats all that Roy Keane stuff about????!!

It was a quote he made a while back, about the Old Trafford crowd during some matches, accusing them of not being passionate enough to support Man United.
