a question for all those who played beta, does anyone else notice final version plays slightly differently? i cant put my finger on quite what, but it just seems a little different

p.s i told you i'd get one of the french one's from play.com to top my week off

The game is now out so there should be less questions like these. The Belgian players have their real names and certain other nations players don't have real names. It depends on who is in the squad.

Nations with fake names are:-
Bulgaria, Croatia, Czech Rep,
Germany, Holland, N. Ireland,
Serbia & M, Slovakia, Slovenia,
Switzerland, Wales, Morocco,
Senegal, Tunisia, Costa Rica,
Jamaica, Columbia, Ecuador,
Iran, Saudi Arabia, China.

All other national players should have correct names except for the small nations like Ivory Coast and Ghana who don't have teams - not sure about players for those teams. Not sure about players like Dwight Yorke or Lua Lua of Newcastle either. Just check your game for any fake names and then use the link provided above to fix them - or use an X-Port with a pre-edited option file which is free to download (check the Editing section for these).

does anybody else think that the way master league is set up, it drastically reduces the life span???

if you had to work your way up from Division 4 right up to the pinnacle of European football! but if i play through division 2 and 1 then win the W.E.F.A, what else is there to do? dont get me wrong i still end up playing it for 10 to 12 months, but that will be repeating master league with about 20 different teams!

what does anyone else think???!!!!!???? lifespan better or worse than PES2?

You have a point but, nah, there are other teams to play with even if you do get bored. I'll be playing PES3 much longer then I did PES2.

i'm pretty sure there is more than one thread on this already open, but

repeatedly tap L1: step overs

rotate right analog stick 360 degrees: zidane style spin

right analog stick up then down quickly: flick up in the air ready for a volley etc...

Hold R2 then press either side to do a little side step e.g if running towards the goal to your right, hold R2 and press up.

another less publicised trick is while doing the R2 side step (again running to the right of the pitch for arguements sake) press R2 and up to do sidestep, then immediately hold left (or the opposite direction to your run) and you hop back words with the ball in a trapped position, and you can keep dragging it back with for desired amount of time

how that isn't too gobbeldy gook. hope its helped you

someone said that there was a trick too flick it over your head FROM THE GROUND! i know about the normal overhead flick at chest height, but could someone plz tell me cos i dont understand

Hi there recieved my copy of PES3 (PAL retail) a few days ago..excelent game!! Just need to know...in edit mode, under "modify players number"..there is an option "NUMBER INPUT" once in there..you choose a 4 didgit number...what is this for??is this like a secret cheat method to unlock things?

hey can you not change the attendance level at the start of a master league or a cup because that seems to resolve my stutter problems as i can only do it on an exhibition game?

No, unfortunately you cannot change the attendance level in ML or Cup games. Try to turn off the commentary or/and the stadium effects
