I know that Del Peiro has that special lob in the game but is there any other special moves for individual players? I know how to do the moves that are available for every player but, it is just this one topic that has me annoyed!

Any help would be appreciated.
You might already know this but Roberto Carlos has a nifty little run-up when he's taking a free kick.

check out this for a few others. http://www.issextreme.com/gameplay/

Does anyone know if you can do the blanka hop thing? Is he even in the Mexico squad, i haven't checked yet.

Del Piero Chip:
L1 + SQUARE

Can be performed only by Del Piero (...unless others with this ability are discovered) but he must be facing the goal on his left, so that he can use the right foot to perform the move. The ball spins greatly after the first bounce. The sweet spot for scoring from this move is just inside the penalty area, wide of the 6 yard box. This could perhaps be effective for an in-swinging cross.

I got a question for ya. In the Challange Training in PES3 ther's the manual pass challenge yeah. When U actually start the challenge on 1 star my controller does'nt let me get near the ball, the player freezes and does'nt respond to anything I press on the controller, but the menu still works though.

I've tried taking the controller out and in again, but no success and tried resetting the console - still no luck. Anyone know what the probem is? And anyone know what the four digit number is in the edit mode?

Manual passing is done with the right anlague stick (R3). Push in the direction and then press the stick in. If this doesnt work, i dont know what could be wrong, maybe a falty controller?

What´s your problem mate ? Open up your eyes, there is a thread about that on the forum where this has been answered clearly (in a way which a little boy like you can understand).
btw didn´t know that South Germany is in Scotland, well, it seems that you´re not only blind but also not the smartest.

Hey guys - this might seem a weird one, but is there any unlockable feature to allow you to edit the kits of the licenced clubs? I just can't get used to Milan with black socks!

Thanks gang... :)

asuwish, you edit edit any of the kits for a licenced teams - sorry.

Jehuty, a stutter is where the game freezes for a half second before resuming. This can be seen in the beta version and the demo when a goal is scored. There is a thread with a video for the stutter which was posted in August in the General section. Have a look at that thread and if you reply to it, it'll come back to page 1 of the section where more people can see it.

The extra teams are known as PES United and WE United.

kieran, Wayne Bridge should hopefully be in the Player Created area. If not, check the thread for his team. If he's still not there, you can ask for his stats there or use the CM4 to PES3 stat converter program at the grinster site posted a few days ago.

No way to change the distances to feet and inches - sorry.

Does any1 know what happened to the All Star Teams cause you can't buy them (There are also more vacatures in the team selection screen than just the classic teams so I assume the All Star Teams are in)

ps. I tried to search but I couldn't find anything

why are most people slagging off the goalies? i think they're much better.

i've said "Ooooooooh, what a save" more times in my first weekend with Pro evo 3 than in the previous two years with1 & 2 put together.

on another note, is anyone else missing more penalties than they have in their life on this one???

i missed all 4 penalties i won over the weekend!! actually MISSED, completely wide or over, not even worked the goalie, never known it to be this hard before, or have i just had terrible, terrible luck? i have heard many people when recanting Pes 3 stories say "i missed a so and so peno" so is it harder or what?

see i scored 90% of peno's on pes2 so i find it unusual, oh well, i'm sure it'll even itself out! i'm off now, night y'all

On the player edit menu, the bottom option is "enter a number". Anyone know what this is for? Cheats?

Aaargh the penalties are getting me too...

I'm in my fourth season of Div 2 football now (don't laugh, I'm sure hundreds of people won it at their first attempt...), and I've managed to get to the final of the Div 2 cup all three times so far.

And each time I've lost on penalties.

Fair enough I should have played better to score a goal and win that way, but the penalties just seem so random. Is there a technique? Should you change the direction during the run up to send the keeper the wrong way? Or does this even make a difference? A number of times I've held the left analogue stick left and the penalty's either gone right or straight down the middle, and is there anything that controls the power?

IMHO I think penalties is one area where PES has never really developed - and I think there's plenty of room for improvement. I know they're a bit of a lottery in real life, but you may just as well get your cat to take them for all the difference it would seem to make...

PJE, i reckon the perfect peno's would be those of the virtua striker series, ever play them? you could hit the ball at any degree, (you could turn the player left or right and literally hit the ball at ANY spot in the goal)

you could look all the way left and then tap the ball just to the right by holding that direction as you took the run up. you also had a power bar.

they were perfect in my opinion, me and my mates still fire up the dreamcast and have peno competitions on Virtua Striker 2! we dont play the full game, just peno's, they were brilliant. it has always been one of my gripes with Konami's masterpiece

against cpu i generally hit the ball the only place you cant miss (straight down the middle along the floor) cant hit it wide or over, and the goalie (if controlled by cpu player) rarely stays in centre. Human players have caught on though... d'oh!
