does anyone know where i can find all the starting 11's and formations of all the master league teams so i can edit them......ive seen a thread but have lost it now

What is the best teqnique for defending in PES3. Man marking, zone or covering..or using the strategy, zone press, overlap thingy....i have so much trouble stealling balls from the cpu even on 2-3*..they can run from half the feild .. and i can only get most of the time once they reach my box.is it best to keep pressing x..or combination of x and square..i use roberto carlos and i keep hanging on to the side of the player for around 30 metres..but when cpu does the same to me they get it off within 10m?

i've always been really good at the defendeing part, but i never mess with the defending tactics, i usually do a lot of holding square and x as i chase defenders (which jockeys them while calling in a spare man to help) then if they still have the ball with 25 yards to go i chop them down with a foul tackle so bad it would make steven gerrard turn away and weep!!

Controlling one player

I have read that there is a way that you can control one player for the whole game, but i cannot find the option to select.

Please help, where do i select this option?

In the controller select screen, keep pressing L1 till it says 'FIX' - this lets you control one player and is known as the "Libero Grande" mode (based on an old game of this name which also let you play as one player).

does anyone know how to do the simple flick? Ive watched videos of it and know the instructions and still cant do it...any ideas? Its extremely frustrating...

Using the Right Analogue Stick, push it downwards then upwards.

no not that flick...the flick over the head...so when i throw the ball to my player, he chests it and flicks it over his head...any ideas?

Basically you just push the opposite direction and if the ball is at the right height, your player will do the move himself.

when you create a kit, you choose the shirt, then the collar, but then you get an option of three things, that look exactly the same. what the hell are they????

oh yeah, i think pes2 had a lot more different shirts, i mean, i cant create the correct leicester away kit because you can only have the stripe going one way, whereas on pes2 there were loads more kits.

The 3 things are designs for the shorts.
I think you can make more accurate kits in PES3, if you look over the whole range of kits from European kits. It's a shame they don't have all the designs, like Leicester and Fulham but you can make almost all of the others.

To anyone who has unlocked everything with an update, or bought some of the hair styles from pes shop:

Are there any worth buying? i'm saving my money for the free transfer option, i've saved 3400 Pes so far (i work all day so its tough to find time for some Pes 3 action) so i dont want to waste any, so are there any "must have" or "must see" hair styles? such as C.Ronaldo's or Jason lee's pineapple??? or are they all novelty crappy one's?

p.s, does the computer go into invincible mode in silver goal extra time for anyone else? or just me? in my 5 extra time periods so far i havent had a shot, i just defend wave after wave of cpu attacks, and i only started on 3* so i could have some fun before i got down to business

when on the player settings screen (where you put your controller accross to the team you want) keep pressing L1 til you come to "FIX", then choose the player you want. its ok, but some times frustrating when you dont get the ball, put it on 5* and be the goalie if you want a laugh

Some questions...............

How come,even after I have transferred players to a new club they still appear for their original club in edit mode??? Another one is,how come I can't create a player,i.e Fletcher,and put him into man u then select him for Scotland...????...tut....PLEASE HELP
