Your best bet is to hold down the direction you're shotting too for longer and try different angles. There really isn't much else to it.

i was wondering whether anyone has seen a player wear a bandage or drink water as this was a feature that was meant to be in the game and which i have not seen once yet?

yeah, i've seen bandages, all the time actually, i'm a little bit filthy when it comes to tackling just outside the box. i found it really hard to injure people at first but now i've got the hang of it its easy.

the water bottles doesn't happen in game (although i've heard there's a cut scene just before a penalty shootout) not 100% sure

Just got my x port in the day there-sweet and i must say that the option file that i downloaded (i think Zyg done it) is fantastic. I was wondering if this is the last one that has been created-it was modified on the 23rd of oct i think.

I know this might sound like a broken record but since i have read the thread on how to use the x-port and this is a kinda new question i thought i might chance my arm.

Any help wud be great.

P-GodII, as MatPhillips said, they are indeed bandages in the game and you can see players drinking from water bottles (like the Lucozade flasks all the Prem goalies have) before penalty shoot-outs. It's not a cut-scene per say, however. It's the backdrop when you're selecting the order of your kickers.

Big Brown Bear, the option file (PES V3 modified by Zyg) you downloaded is probably the best and most up to date option file available. The next one to look out for is ISSExtreme's. It will be ironing out all the bugs of all previous versions.

How come i change the name of a player(ex. Ki-Hyeon Seol) for RSC Anderlecht and when i play with South Korea his name is Ki-Hyun Seol?Do i have to change them for both national and clubs?

I have recently changed the england kit and a club team to make way for my beloved owls, only to find that now all the fans in the stadium wear black, and not their teams colours; no matter who is playing. Does anyone know how to fix this without having to start a new option file = loads of time to put in details etc. Thanks

I'm guessing this has been answered already somewhere else, but is there a list of 'doubles' that will need editing - been 'old skooling' the edit, and found Davids needed more than a name change. which is the correct set of stats - the licensed player?

Also, where do you change the registered nationality of players(if you can) and are there any full new team stats anywhere?- thinking of amending PES and WE teams to real squads (Southampton & Middlesborough).

Finally, anyone else noticed the slowdown/speedup on the first goal replay - other than that I dotn think i have any stutter.... (oh and anyone else agree the ability to replay and save other near misses is great function - bar...post...bounce away from goal as you run in for a sitter, then show your friends till bored stupid!)

does anyone know how to sign young promising players that you can train up using the train promising players section. I did a conditional search for young players and 18 was the youngest I could find. Do I just sign one of them?

go to "search by team" and on page 3 there are 3 lists "edited player", "other" (or freelance cant remember) and "promising"

they're all on there and should have a weird plant symbol next to them

I am united and altho scholes dont have a club i still need to pay points...same for hagi and heroic holland players...why????

listen, i've checked all the obvious threads (skimmed the large one's so i could have missed it)

Can one of the high rollers of the site tell me why i cant edit the free transfer/club team roster.

an outline of what happens:

i've bought my transfer thingy for a rather handsome 10000pes.

i go onto register player in edit mode. i try to do do the 2nd and 3rd ones, (the one's that dont involve national team) and i can only do a tiny amount of players. it wont work on either section for 98% of players.

i did the Man U players last night, but for example i tried to free transfer MUTU to CHELSEA, but when i went to a blank space and clicked it, then went to Mutu at parma his name was blacked out, as were most of the squad there are only two or three players in each squad that are white (meaning i can transfer them)

can any one help or explain at (preferably a.s.a.p as i use the internet at work and dont go on during the weekend)

Zygalski, Larsson, Giggsy, anyone, PLEASE HELP

matt, you have to get the player you're transferring out of the first 16 in the squad, then transfer him to his new club.

Follow my WE7 guide exactly and it will work, here it is edited by Zygalski for PES3:

How to transfer players from club to club
-----------------------------------------------------------
1. Go to the 3rd option [3. Free Transfers] down in transfer mode
2. Select the team the player you want is in
3. Swap him with a player further down the squad list (below 16 places i think)
4. Select the player again
5. Select the team you want to transfer him to
6. Select a blank space in the team and then he'll be transferred



How to transfer a player from Country to Club
-------------------------------------------------------------------
1. Go to the 2nd option [2. Club Team Selection] in the transfer menu
2. Select a blank slot in the team your transferring TO
3. Go to the country the player plays for.
4. If he isn't at a club in the game already, he'll be selectable. Just select him



To remove a player from a team and make him a "free agent"
------------------------------------------------------------------------------
1. Go to the 3rd option [3. Free Transfers] in the transfer menu
2. Select the player and replace him with someone further down your squad list.
3. Go to the 2nd option [2. Club Team Selection] in transfer mode.
4. Select the player and swap him with a blank space in your team, he'll then be removed from your squad


NOTE: To get the player back, do the opposite:

1. Select the 2nd [2. Club Team Selection] option in the transfer menu
2. Select a blank space in your team
3. Select your team again and all the "free" players will be highlighted, select the one you want



To put a player into a national squad from a club
----------------------------------------------------------------------
1. Select the 1st option [1. National Team selection] in the transfer menu
2. Select the country you want.
3. Select a player that you want replaced (eg Jeffers)
4. Select the club where the player you want is
5. The available players will be highlighted, select him (eg Shearer)
