Sounds totally unrealistic, or hyped up. Wow, they're putting in new teams...which were in PES 4

Fuck me, i can't believe they've got that many teams! I hope they get more liscences for the Premiership but i doubt it.

will any of the liscenced teams from pes5 like chelsea and arsenal still be liscenced

They probably will still be liscenced, once they got the contract to liscence them in PES5 they will always have them for future titles.

They still haven't got the Premiership teams fully licensed?

If it's true, then it's absolutely pathetic.

It just goes to show how cheap Konami really are. They'd rather license the J-League and Portugese League than license one of the most popular leagues in Europe. Despite the fact the PES games are raking in the money these days.

I don't know about you lot but I'd be extremely disappointed with Konami if they didn't get the entire Premiership licensed for PES6.

So are you trying to tell me that Konami can't afford to buy the licensing rights for the Premiership teams?

People havent really discussed something kind of important not displayed. The xbox(1) was not displayed as a format for pes6, yet the ps2 is.:erm:

Also I have to state that a november release of playstation 3 looks really unlikely. As It is becoming common knowledge that its very unlikely that the ps3 will be released in spring in japan, so delays year around, plus demand may/will outsrip supply.

And many people have chosen to wait for ps3 rather than purchase the demand heavy xbox360. So this is basically leaving the ps2 as the only home console that will have pes6.

Also why would a ps2 magazine state all the other formats that a game will be released in? dosent that defeat the point point of trying to sell the game on your console?

It's not that simple and the common consensus on this subject is that there is a single licence for the premiership and EA have bought it so Konami would have to wait for this contract to expire and then pay more than EA are willing to - which doesn't look very likely to be happening.

Also, there is suspicion that the info in the first post is fake and lies so just keep that in mind.

Will do.

To tell you the truth, I'm a little suspicious about some teams in that list aswell. Like Pakistan for one. Aren't they ranked lower than 120th or something?

If so, then what the hell are they doing in PES6? You could probably roll them over easily with any normal team.

Or they could approach every Premiership club individually, I think.

I believe the rule is a maximum of any 2 premiership teams if they don't have the full licence. Which is what the Club Football teams did in all of their versions - just a different combination for each game.
Not sure how This Is Football did it though.
