Action replay max EVO edition?

I have found this product (looks like a jazzed up max drive), and in the description it says...

Does that mean with this people who dont have a chipped ps2 will be able to patch their game, as opposed to just using an option file...?

I am new to this site - hi everyone. I dont know jack about Patching, usb cards, all that stuff. All I know is I love evo and want it looking the nuts! (As best as pos). I have an Xbox with PES5 (not sure what i can do with this) Is there anyone out there that can get me the flashing lights etc, real kits, champions league patches, Everything! I'll pay them whatever it costs, or if not, get me a PS2 with the game already Patched etc. I am in essex. will pay whatever it costs (Within reason)! Please - I dont have time or the know how to do it on my own.

I am planning to use the recently released option file for PES5 to get the real player names and kits, and all the other stuff, I presume that all of this is in the
'Max Drive PES 5 OF Shop items locked 99999 PES (fixed).max'
that I have downloaded?

I'm not going to use a patch because I don't really understand the technology, do new kits look better in a patch version compared to the option file version? I saw somewhere that someone had made new stadiums for the game, is a patch the only way to do this?

Here is my main question - if I load up the downloaded option file and start a master league team, then see that a new option file has been released, can I go through the same process of using the max drive to put on the new option file to update the game and still have my old master league team with the new up dated option file?

Kits in patched versions are (almost) always better than on the Option file (unless you don`t get PATCHED OPTION FILE-which was PESFAN OptionFile for PES4 V3.0), and stadiums are `gettable` only trough patch...If you get this one, post it IMMEDIATELY!!! I`ve seen some prewiew from ORTHAN (guy makes GREAT patches, but haven`t released it yet, I think).

hi everyone. could someone help me ive just downloaded the nest4 pach with the 100% kits and its great apart from some dodgy music. however can some one tell me how i could change one strip in the game. i would like to swap the all green celtic away top for the all black one im sorry if this question has been asked but ive looked all over the site but cant find the answer thanks in advance

To correct "names and teams" you only need to download an updated option file and use max drive/x-port/cd2mem to transfer the file to your memory card.

Maybe my question will sound quite stupid, but where can I find an official PES5 patch (for real names and teams) for PC? I read the discussion above and I couldn't reach to any safe conclusions.

I am not sure about this so heres my question,
do i need a chipped ps2 for patching? And do the "Magic Slide"(think that the name) dvd work?

To play a patched game, yes your console needs to be chipped or modded (using slide card with swap magic or flip top lid with swap magic).
