No you can't do that. That's why patched games with patched kits must be burned onto a new disk. The only kits on an option file are the ones made in edit mode - or they are set to default so that the new patched default kits from the disk are the ones that are shown. Hope that makes sense.

you seem to be the authority on this. Can you please tell me if you need to mod the Xbox in order to use the patches... I've read your previous intruction on 'How To' but do not know if the XBOX will read the newly created disk.

Plus...I've heard that modded Xbox's can not go online for any game. I'm not terribly interested in modding my Box... but saw ome of the patched Kits which looked fantastic. I've made a few new international kits but find the editing tools a bit limiting with the new designs.

I'm completely new to PES/Winning Eleven and enjoying the game quite a bit...I just found out that optimatch was no working properly so any update in this area would also be helpful.

I don't know much about modding xbox, sorry.
Try asking someone in a thread about an xbox patch to explain it.

Does anyone know if its possible to put Xbox patches onto the Xbox 360 with Pro Evo 5? Because its a totally different system i doubt it but to be honest it looks so gimpy playing Pro Evo 5 without the real kits i was used to in Pro Evo 4.

Any help or wisdom would be greatly appreciated.

you'r computer needs to be chipped to play patches and you can't modd the 360 yet I don't think.

Transfer Option File through FTP?

Hey,

I have a modded PS2 with my PES5 installed on my PS2 HD, since my laser is broken and I have the opportunity to FTP my files to my memorycard I have this question: Which Option File type should I FTP? Max? Bin/Cue? or what?

I've searched the forums and I found nothing on FTP-tranfers of optionfiles.

Hey again, I got it!

I used the PS2 Save Builder that I downloaded on this site and I took a .max file, extracted the 3 files and just replaced the ones on my memorycard. Peace of cake! =)

hello im thick :).

can someone please explain to me in (thick terms LOL) how to put a patch on a copied game on a modded xbox as im ready for smashin it up.

got a max drive yesterday and tried loads of option files but they keep sayin damaged after bout 3 quarters when i try to copy them over.

sorry if this question has already been asked but im desperate

You mean an original game of course.
Go to the xbox section of File Downloads and go to a thread containing a patch for the xbox version and all the instructions should be in there.

A patch is very different from an option file though. Check the Max Drive help thread for help on using a max drive.
