New Tricks I would like to see?? Well, firstly I would like to see Dribbling in a completely different way -because- Dribbling Skills and options in PES6 are too limited and general.
For one thin, Dribbling Accuracy and Dribbling Speed just doesn't cut it, it is too GENERAL. And again, Special Abilities such as "Dribbling", "Tactical Dribble", or "Post Player" are still too general.
I would like to see the Dribbling Accuracy Stat divided into many different stats, for example; Step Over, Lane Changes, Roulette, etc, etc.. Basically turning renowned Dribbling Moves into Stats.
Because NOT everyone is as good as Cristiano Ronaldo and Luis Figo at performing "Step-Overs", and not everyone does the "Roulette" with the same ease as Zinedine Zidane, etc, etc..
So, does anyone remembers the "Strategies" in PES6, the Strategies that worked by the use of the R2 Button -and- the use of the Main Buttons (Square, Circle, Triangle, and X). Well, I would like to see "Dribbling Moves" performed with that same concept.
For example, you have the 4 Main Buttons, so by holding the R2 Button (in PES08 this ends up being the R1 Button) and pushing the X Button the Player performs a Dribbling trick. This way it is easier and faster to perform Dribbling Tricks -and- we can also get more variations, more tricks because we'd obviously have 4 Different Dribbling Tricks with the 4 Main Buttons -but- we can also have 8 Different Dribbling Moves by the same concept. Instead of just holding the R2 Button and pushing the X Button -you- could perform another dribbling move by holding the R2 Button and Tapping the X Button Twice.
I think this would give a new dimension to "Dribbling" -because- Not only can we have AT LEAST 12 Different Dribbling Tricks at the push (or Double Tap, or Triple Tap) of a Button -BUT- it could also be possible to assign Different Dribbles for Different Situations. For example, assigning Different Types of Step-Overs to the "Square Button" -or- assigning Different Types of Roulettes to the "O Button", etc, etc.. In other words, making ONE Button suitable for many Different Types of situations.
I also think, that Different Players should perform Different Dribbling Moves (or Tricks) by the use of the same Buttons. For example, maybe Cristiano Ronaldo performs one of his trademark Step-Overs by Holding the R2 Button and pushing the X Button -while- on the other hand, Kaka performs a far less flashy (although probably more effective) Dribbling Move by Holding the R2 Button and pushing the X Button.
So with that SYSTEM, we could easily have 8 Different Dribbling Tricks at our disposal. And of course how good a player is at performing such "Dribbling Moves" -or- what a player can or cannot do should be determined by all the different Stats.
