The running still looks a bit robotic in that vid to be honest, but I really hope they've figured out a way to stop players from winning by just making huge runs down the wing. Also, one big, glaring omission in 2009 was the lack of a 'normal' tackle, holding A will close down an opposition player but won't actually take the ball away even if you're standing half a foot away from them, which makes defending too difficult. Hopefully that's sorted this year.

great comment, this information era has it's down side also.
gone are the days you just buy something and make up your own mind about it, without worrying about all the things you heard or are hearing about it.
but it has it's positive sides to so.............. but i agree, surprises are getting less and less.

you guys talking about pes6 next gen or ps2? because as far as i can remember there was a lot of hate for the 360/ps3 version on here! plenty of people saying it was a poor leap from current to next gen ect. i think most of it stemmed from no edit mode but i managed to deal and think that has prolly been the best next gen one so far. graphics were nice, i liked how sometimes at the kickoff it would show you the two players taking it, as we have now, but on other occasions it would show you the two players boots standing over the ball.

there were problems which still exist today, such as that damn toe-poke they do under pressure!not sure what konami were thinking when they threw that shot animation in and decided to keep it for 5plus years!

Thanks for the video. Nice to see some uninterrupted gameplay footage

They are shit players. They still look like they run like robots. On around six minutes Rooney does a toe-poke. Oops ees.

But altogether it does look improved.

They are not bad players, but they aren't good attacking how much times did they pass when they should of shot. Look how much times their passes went astray.

I am not saying I am better than them or the King of PES I am certainly not. In fact I am prety bad.

It was a good video, never the less.

It looks alot harder.

The speed in PES6 was more or less perfect IMO ... PES2010 should aim for around that speed, with a bit of refinement

The one now on the front page looks GOOD. The only thing I noticed is that 45 and lesser degree turns at full pace still look robotic, but the running animations and player movement look loads better, and you can't make 90 degree turns without actually having to slow down. One thing that would be kind of cool would be for some of the best players to perform a Cruyff turn instead of a normal one when under pressure, but that's probably asking a bit much.... lol

And the game has slowed down, which is awesome. IMO Konami have delivered; and this is only a 70% build. I've been cautious to pass judgement thus far, but I would buy the game as is, based on that video.
