No 2v2 in PES2008?

I know there have been rumors that they have taken this out of the new game online but have they actually confirmed it?

Also are they just stopping it with 4 people on different machines or are they stopping 2 people playing on the same machine as well? The reason I ask this is because I heard they were taking it out to try and stop lagging.

It normally lagged with 4 different people (due to 4 different connections) but it made absolutely no difference having 2 people on one machine.

Also will this only be for the PS3/XBOX 360 version or will it be the PS2 one as well?

If they have taken it out for 2 players on the same machine can anyone give the actual reasons for it?

i would also like to know the answer to this, all we hear when we ask is its been rumoured its not in it but when you ask these peeps where did they get confirmation of this they cant reply, i reckon its in the game this year, well until one of the rumour boys can come out an post a link confirming its not, ive searched everywhere regarding the issue but cant find the evidence to back the rumour boys claims up

Aye... I would like to know that as well. When their saying that 1v1 is the only thing...Will it then be possible to play 2v2 (when its only 1 machine v 1 machine)

I mean that should be possible imo...cause it won't interfear anything (or whatever online)

PES5 + PES6 both had great 2v2 online options. Personally I think they should take out the 2v2 matches with 4 different people playing. They normally lagged and sometimes it got really complicated when you just wanted a 1on1 and you had 3 or 4 people in your room on PES6.

I don't think anyone had anything against the 2v2 matches in PES5 though. I just don't see any reason for taking it out apart from there being problems implementing it.
