Things have progressed from ISS man get with the flow, ISS is a poor mans fifa now.

I used to spend hours on Iss Deluxe on snes, the days of allejo and gomez etc and when all cameroonian players could ride tackles

ISS Deluxe had the best commentary "Shot" "Header" "Corner Kick" "KEEPER FUMBLES!". And ISS 3, what a crap game, compared to PES4.

i used to play ISS at some youth club somewhere. it lead the way to pes you know ;) . i ISS for the first time in 2004, which is a bit late you know. but it was always better than fifa. anyway the japanese commentary was outstanding. you couldn't stop laughing, and it sounded quite good, though how i came to that conclusion i don't know. anyway i miss the all star teams :(

I was playing the old ISS Pro Evolution and ISS Pro 98 just the other day. It seems very weird compared to PES4. But, those games themself are still class acts.

They're still very enjoyable to play.

The old games are classics, i still have them all, wont be getting rid of them.

Out of the whole series i probably had most fun with ISS 98.

Yeah, I remember those funky graphics on the Playstation 1. The first ISS Pro, to be honest, was pretty basic when you compare it to the ISS Pro games that followed.

ISS Pro was pretty slow and felt like a "simulation". But ISS Pro 98 was just plain slick. ISS Pro Evolution 1 was nigh on perfect (gameplay-wise). ISS Pro Evolution 2 was a step forward in terms of licensing but a move backwards gameplay-wise. Then came the legendary Pro Evolution Soccer, 2, 3 and 4.

Anyway, I still have all of the old ISS Pro games. I still play them every now and then. In my opinion, they're still enjoyable games to play.

I'm glad that Sony have added the Playstation/PSone and Playstation 2/PStwo backwards compatibility feature into the Playstation 3. I'll probably still be playing these games in 2008 and beyond.
