October 26th Plan of action

i've booked the day of work and luckily enough i'm off college and i have a detailed plan of action for friday the 26th october. The day will start with a coffee and a cigerette and then a trip into town to get the game and my main aim is to be back by 11.30 so i have as much time to smoke copius amounts of maruijanna and play as many ten minute matches as physically possilbe, i will also go on the usual editing frenzy that comes with each yearly update.

Well, I've got the money stashed away, but I'm in America (I mean the continent), so on October 26th I'll be...

...downloading the game to play it until the legitimate copies reach my continent!!

Can I say that on TV?

Im on half term from college, so im gonna get to gamestation as soon as it opens, get the game , go home, lock myself in my room and play it all day with no breaks...

Ill probably take a break to see if I can find an early edited option file on this website, because I can imagine some lucky bastards will get the game a few days before release, but I honestly cant wait ...

well i have the day off college so ill leave like 15 mins before all the shops open hurry down there, buy it on PS3 come back, play for ages, have lunch, check out all editing possibilities, play some more, remember that theres an option file released, go download it, play while waiting, add it, then play more

I've got so used to the current one on the sexbox that I believe I will be over the moon with the new one coming out (All the features returning, etc). I'll likely be playing it on the Thursday so will divide my time by playing it with a mate and on here answering questions regarding the game.

Mate of mine asked a random local store regarding the release date, and if it was still the 26th. Then the guy at the counter checked the computer and he said it was the 25th... My mate obviously couldn't believe his ears, so he asked again if he was sure, and he claimed so....So 25th here it is then I guess ?!?!

If i´m lucky i´ll be able to play it on 23rd of Oct until i break down. Then i´ll hopefully can download a nice option file to forget the lack of licences. On 26th and 27 th it´s tournament weekend with some friends of mine...on a large flatscreen to enjoy the first hd pes experience on the PS3.

I emailed them to ask when it would be shipped, they said at least 2 days before the release date but if they hear that anyone else has shipped early they will to!

Only trouble is, if you are in the uk, we need to pray that the Royal Mail dispute is sorted!:erm:

Aye thats why I didn't order online, cos the Royal Mail are acting like a set of cunts.

I'd rather go to shops first thing in morning and get a copy that way, aside from the fact there's no guarantee of it being early AND the postie round my way generally shows up around 10:30.

On the 26th October, I plan to celebrate the one-week anniversary of me owning Football Manager 2008, the only football game any self-respecting bloke will own.

I'll be fully settled into my first season with someone, I imagine, and will be finding it utterly ridiculous that lots of people will be fighting each other to get a copy of a sub-standard game off of the shelves, whilst the crown jewells sits next to it collecting dust.
