i'm sad to say this but i'm bored of my ML with Newcastle.
It's 3/4 way through 2nd season only and i'm in Div 1 cup final but this game just aint keepin me interested anymore. I think the reason is because it doesn't look like the ORIGINAL newcastle team anymore with me only keeping Milner, Given, Carr, Bernard, Jenas and Amoebi out of whole team (and even these are mostly benched, only Bernard, Milner and Jenas play regularly).
I think i shouldn't have bought world-superstars like Adriano or Cech this early because i quite like playing with weaker players or average ones and then maybe into 7th or 8th season having superstars like Sheva and Nedved!!
Anyways, I'm thinkin of starting a new ML but having some serious doubt about who to start with.
Its not goin to be with Vorlander and co. because that will make all the players of the team i choose go FREE and i just dont find it realistic.
I want to have a weaker team or at most mid-table like Udinese or weaker like Lecce and take them to superstardom in 5-6 seasons.
But on other side i want to take PSG to French championship once again and take them to European glory by gettin rid of the fringe they got and bringing in quality young French talent.
And then there's Ajax of course my fav team in the world but i'm not going to do this one as i dont want to play with other dutch teams because it'll be too easy and yet i dont want to be in a league with mix teams either because that'd be unrealistic and wont let me enjoy.
Yes i'm quite picky as you can see but i'll find a way to enjoy it finally.
so any suggestions on who to start with??

there is someone else like me, i suggest you do one with ajax, i only make transfers that might happen but this is stupid as it takes the enjoyment out the game because there is nothing better than sighning a new superstar. I also never am the team i support i.e manchester united. Any suggesstions who barca might sighn would be welcome.sinashgh said:

Yeah i found a good way to keep it from getting boring is signing players that would sign in real life for your team.
So i started ML with Sochaux with real players and its a lot of fun. The players i sign are mostly French and players that could sign for my team. So i'm not having French Arsenal players but talented young ones from other teams below me or those being benched on other clubs.
I also buy a couple foreigners but thats realistic since they're playin in their own country and clubs like Sochaux would attract some of them.
The only one i think might have been unrealistic is i got Bobo Balde from Celtic, he probably wouldn't join Sochaux from Celtic but he's French and his stats declining anyways so maybe he wanted to come back to France for his last seasons and especially since Sochaux will be a big team, with some financial backing we can attract a little bit more higher reputation players i told myself
Anyways its lots of fun, my superstar is 20 year old Mathieu and players abilities are really low but fun and competitive when you play against much better teams like Monaco, PSG and rest.

does anybody have a simple way of doing the end of season training or do you have to go through every player and every training routine every week.

Of course you dont have to do ALL players... for example the shooting one, you could do only with your strikers... or the defending one only with your defenders and midfielders.
Its up to you but there's no easy way to do them.
or you could not do it period.
or do it except weeks where you have friendly matches is what i do as it can get really boring training all 8 weeks for every player.

I find the game extremely boring after I sign Maradona, Pele and the wicked players after the 1st season. Its almost like I cleared the game cause I start racking up the goals ,wins, money and players. So I started a new season with my own custom team, FC COSMOS and signed the likes of Wright Philips, Odonkar, Marten, Choi Sung Guk with C.Ronaldo being my only superstar. Its uber satisfying to have a no name Choi Sung Guk scoring 30 goals + on 6*.
Anyways, I'm trying to build the fastest freaking team evar with a bunch of no names. Speed and through passes are uber wicked especially when you're 1 on 1 with goalie. Anyone have suggestions on some no names with mad speed and dribbling skills?

im in my 3rd season with everton,i started with castolo,minanda etc.i won div 2 cup in 1st season but finished 3rd,2nd season won cup again and finished 2nd got promoted,3rd season i've played 8 games won 2 drawn 5 lost 1.my players that ive got are.

A strange thing happened in my master league last night, twice !!!
Im in the first season in Div 2, I was top of the league with 19 pts, Charlton were second with with same points, I draw with WBA and they beat Norwich, so I looked at the table and they were 3 pts ahead of me !!! Surly they should only be 2 pts ahead, anyway I let it ride but then with 2 games to go Charlton were 5 points ahead of me on 26 pts, I beat Palace to take me up to 24 pts and they draw with WBA so they should now be on 27 pts, so I checked the table again to check the goal difference cos I was playing them in the last match and they were now on 28 pts, 4 points clear instead of 3 !!
Has anyone else noticed this, or even thought of checking that the points are correct !

Player Recommendation: Zicu...he's a young OMF, well at least i play him there in my real madrid team of: Ivarov, Valeny, Vitali, Dulic, Ximelez, Macco, Mbami, Joaquin, Zicu, R.Oliveira and Rooney......he's a top quality playmaker with a nice left foot.
Oliveira is a good poacher as well...always in the right place at the right time 4 me.
I'm currently top of Div1...2 points ahead of Liverpool with 5 games left and in the Cup final against them. Rooney and Oliveira have 21 and 17 goals respectively. things are lookin good!

jus updating yous! won the european cup in 3rd season now! finished 2nd to Real Madrid 2 yrs running they got only 2 deafeats(BOTH 2 ME) NO DRAWS! adriano was mine and leagues top scorer ! v .of hesselink top assister ! i have barrowloads of munny but need 2 win the league this year! would nebody like 2 suggest sum singins ! take note im in 4th season ans the likes of my best players kak,adriano are 25 now! adriano is declining!

Won D2 comfortably (and cup), and unbeaten in league. Lecce finished 2nd with Bojinov in 3rd for Goalscoring. Morientes and Guti were signed by me, Morientes finished 2nd top goalscorer; Baros 1st.
Also now signed F De Boer, Lizarazu, Emre, Nakata, and err... that's it, I think. Oh, and Sneijder.

I have a problem that is a part editing issue but also is ML related.
I chose to play as Everton in the ML but i wanted to change a few players stats and appearances, even after I got the proper teams option file thing done - i thought I could make it a bit more 'accutrate' in some areas. Obviously it had all the updated players in there etc but I found that when editing some of the players in edit mode the stats wouldnt change when playing ML but the appearances and special abilities did change. I saveed over the option file so I dont understand why they didnt change in ML mode but in say League mode they did update. This was with starting a new game as well after i did the option file copy.

i wanted a challenge so i picked my beloved rangers and started with the current squad of real players. I then made up an english premiership which would be my league of choice, starting in div.2 as usual along with celtic and a bunch of other nomads (boca, river, anderlecht etc.) it is on 6* and i won promotion after comin second in my first season, helped by a young paul gascoigne and Brian Laudrup. Came third in my first season (2nd season in the ml) in the premiership, gaining entry into the champions league (wefa) for the next season, which i won and then narrowly lost the league to liverpool by one point in the same season. Got loads of points now to create the ultimate gers side to teach them english a lesson...
