my master league
started a master league with the mighty liverpool,normal players.finished season 1 with the fa cup and finished 4th. season 2 i am in the qualifers with valencia,aston villa and newcastle. i lost my first 3 games to them all,but have since drawn 1 and won 1,but the best i can get is the uefa cup.playing for pride now.my only gripe is that in the qualifers you play 3 teams from your league and only one outsider(valencia)

i think ill contribute another story.....
drawing 0-0 with deportivo come up that 3 minutes are added on i think thts abit much but w/e, they get a soft free kick altho tbh the ref was ridiculously shite, they put in the box and my goalie and defender think mexes watch the ball bounce between um and in! now im pissed off. so i think as soon as i kick off thts it final whistle, i give the ball to reyes and ran and i get a shot in win a corner and im like gonna have to make sure its good in it went my centre back dellas heads it in im like get in!! so they then kick and run through my team im think wtf 3 mins this honest to god more like 10 mins added and they shoot hits the bar and i clear it. i was pissed off at the amount of time added i was like milimeters away from losing twice!! cos the ref needs a new pissin watch! also ive noticed in master league especially ya defenders what is known as having head like a sheriffs badge as 8/10 corners you put it the header fly ova the bar!!

In the master league I can't seem to buy any players from the classic teams that i've unlocked. They don't even appear when searching for them has anyone else found this? or knows what im doing wrong?

i am currently 8th.. but.. i am only playing on 4*, coz i could barely win on that last season.. next season it will be cranked up...

Into season 4 on 6* with barca.Got to the final of the wefa championships last season but got beaten in the final against inter to a lucky adriano goal and finished second.Iv'e played 12 won 10 drawn 1 and lost 1 in 2nd place.I'am top of my wefa championships group after beating real madrid 2-1 away and valencia 5-0 at home.

When looking for new players during the negotiation period, I went to show all players and sort by salary, and the player with the highest salary was someone called Geijo with 5000 salary points! I looked at his stats and he seems a very below average player with stats of 80 in stamina and short pass accuracy and was also 23 so wasn't likely to improve a lot. Has anyone else come across this sort of thing? if so, has anyone bought him, and is he any good? Just curious on where this player came from. 
p.s. sorry if loads of people have already mentioned this , I haven't been browsing the forums a lot lately.

I feel ashamed... I only play ML at 2*...
You see, my friends and I play an Exhib's match competition with our ML-Teams, and a unique player-pool. We want to make our teams as fast as possible... We played a tournament to determine draft-sequence: the winner got the first chance to pick a player for his team, then the second finisher got a chance, etc... We stopped at 22 players, and eventhough I finished last I got me a nice team.
I started off with an original team, Racing Reetkickers FC (had hours of fun with designing the shirts and the sponsors - Argenta Bank and National Geographic), exchanged three original players for Koltarii (Vincent Kompany) and Adriano. (BTW Koltarii developed GREAT in season 1, but ever since he has stagnated... why is that?). Now, in season 3, I'm at 14 of my 22 players, and my Best11 (heh) looks like this. It's a standard 4-4-2 with a central vertical axis.

Van Der Vaart Joaquin
Viera
Riise Mellberg
Samuel Kompany
Casillas
On the bench: Totti (yeah, I know... but he really sucked at ball-handling and control, Rosicky was much better), Reyes (polyvalent winger, real asset), Mexes (kinda low stats, but good at interception), some of the original wussies and Nakata and Ono (cheap season 1 QuickSearch products, and good stats as well)
Still on my list: Cannavaro, Pires (along with Rosicky my favourite players from PES3), R. Ayala, Ballack, Morientes, D. James, Materazzi and Larsson (with Ibrahimovic and Mellberg the Swede connection - I really think Sweden had to win the European Championship, damn the Dutch lucky bastards!, or at least play the finals, they were the most attractive team together with the Danes)
Review of the current players (versus human opponents):
Adriano rules - he's utterly unstoppable with his high balance and power, and dribbling works like a charm
Ibrahimovic - great positioning, only his response could be better. He'll probably be exchanged for Larsson once I get him. Totti is also a good sub for him...
Rosicky - I love him. Great dribbling, fast enough, and even good at recuperation! And he has the Playmaker special ability. Trust me, you need that.
Viera - what can I say? Best DMF in the game I think.
Van Der Vaart - fast and accurate, very good penetration. But slow at reception and first control. A good opponent can nullify his powers because of this. Reyes is a good sub, and a lot more difficult to handle by those opponents - but then again, his general stats are lower than Van Der Vaart's.
Joaquin - fast, good reception, good acceleration... but a lousy shot! Will miss anything when farther than 10 feet from the goal, hehehe... He'll probably be subbed out for Pires when I get him...
Riise - very good leftback, I think second only to Roberto Carlos on that position... But he's impossible to keep in the back once you get ballcontrol... That's his only downside. He even scores on a regular basis.
Mellberg - fast enough and good at interception and constructive passing. A very decent sideback, and I'm not sure he'll have to take the fall once I get Ayala.
Samuel - well, he plays for Real Madrid. Nuff said. His positioning could be better sometimes, though.
Kompany - nice, even when on his basic stats (in Exhib's). Good intercept, and nice attacking mentality. Only, his shot technique is incapable of supporting that attitude. He'll probably be switched for Cannavaro.
You'll notice my forwards having a 'counter-foot' for their position - that works great when playing a supportive/dribbling game. The respective wingers do have their 'good' foot on their position, and you create a nice complementarity this way.
The bench also supports a two-OMF 4-5-1 for playing against those pesky 4-3-3 human opponents (you know, the ones that play with Recoba and C. Ronaldo and such)

Yesterday I started my first ML league with Bruxelles (Anderlecht), I won 3 matches, drew 1 match and lost 2 on a 4* level. My biggest talent is "Koltarii" (Kompany) but also "Vomme" (Van den Borre) and "Lezood" (Legear) are nice default talents from Anderlecht ...
I don't know all the things yet that you can do, also I'm not far enough in the seasons to be allowed to buy new players. I will use this first season as a test to test all the features out (als need to research the tactics), playing ATM with a 4-3-3 line-up ...

plyin on 6* wit arsenal Brought sum of thier players back ljungberg, henry reyes and fabregas who is now totally brilliant but he doesn't have much time befor he starts declining won every match since the begining playing in league d with an edited roster all the best teams. i think im gonna start playin on fixed player someone suggested it would be a bit harder, cos its not that its boring but u just want a challenge.

I only have to draw with b.dortmund to earn promtion to div 1 with psv einhoven,i'am finding it very enjoyable taking a average side through the master league.Just signed tevez and volanthen is coming along very nicely,tevez has scored 5 goals in 4 games.In div 1 there are 16 dutch teams with me de granshcap(mind spelling)munich,dortmund,lyon,monaco,celtic and rangers in div 2 in my first season.

Just finished my first season with Manchester City real players in 2nd. Got prometed with 1 game to go in the season. Finished 7W 3D 4L and lost in the semi's of the cup. Signed C. Ronaldo and Linke in the off-season so far. I am enjoying playing with them. I am sure D1 will be a challenge.

I'm Currently in season 3 of my master league. I created my own team and brought in C.Ronaldo and Gisueppe Rossi as the star players. The first season was really tough as Rossi was underdeveloped and everything went through C.Ronaldo. Manged to win Div 2 cup and Scraped promotion to the 1st.
Second season I brought in R. Smith and Elano. I had already givin a chance to Utaka and Chiesa but both players were crap so I sold them. Start of Second season was tough but when Rossi and R. Smith developed a bit I started to motor. I finished 4th behind Inter Milan, Man Utd and Real Madrid.
I am playing this season on 5*. I'm second in the League and top of my group in WEFA League. I play the 442a formation and my team is. I concentrated on developing youth players from the start

Anyone have any tips for younhsters who develop amazingly? I found a gem who went from having 2 yellows to be all yellow (bar defence) with 5 oranges and 2 reds, he goes by the name of Cardarson and is bloody incredible. So far though I havn't been able to find any others like him =/.

Picture the scene, Cisse has just put Barca Royal 1-0 up against Real Madrid at the Bernabeu. Real trail Barca by 3 points with 1 game left to play - should Barca win the title is theirs, should they lose then it's all to play for in the last game. A few minutes in and Cisse jinks around Samuel and slots one in - yay me. Then, just as I think i'm amazing disaster strikes; Beckham puts in a corner, Xavi misses the header and Owen nods it in from close range. Ok, no biggy, I can deal with that. Then in the 73rd minute the freshly subbed Guti had a ball laid back to him that he proceeded to crack into the bottom left hand corner of the goal - past a Chinese immigrant smuggled into Spain and called a goalkeeper. 2-1, not great. So I bring Adriano on for the tiring Cisse and after a few minutes he's terrorizing Samuel and Helguerra but, for all his efforts there were no goals coming. Then, a run from Nakata down the right and a ball in met the head of Valeny of all people and I was headed into a drawn position again. Finally, in second half stoppage time Adriano decides it's time he gets a goal - turns outside of Samuel, paces the ball forward and absolutely hammers it in.
