So far I keep scoring a goal after 4 or 5 minutes. Then despite good pressure, I can't score again and the ******* equalise from a simple tap in past James. 1-1 all round.

It would have been good to be able to see the match stats. That way we could put foward a code for a match when we had higher possession but right now we'll just have to guess at which match went better for us.

Earliest goal for me, 4m24s.

hey boys looks like we have a pes3 winner to enter the tournament.
my bro won 3 - 0 on the demo two headers from corners and a shit lob.
i managed a 2 - 0.
i got the demo this morning from game at 12am , there were only 10 copies they went in the space of 30 mins.
coz my bro won 3 - 0 does this mean he looks certain to go into the tournament and win it?

It's quite short-sighted to assume your brother will win the league based on a single CPU match. Is he any good against other players? Someone else has won already 4-0. 3-0 will give him a good chance to get in but it's not definite. And there's the current champ to take into account.

I've won 2-0. Still looking for the 3-0. Heskey still has the first touch of a dodgy geezer and messes up all my moves.

James is a waste of space. Everytime the balls pumped in to the box he flaps at it.(I guess Konami's got the realism sorted then :D )
Still haven't managed to win by more than one goal though. :(

Come on Gazz, you can do it! I think the demo is quite a bit easier to score in than using the same conditions in WE7 or the PES3 beta.

James gets beaten by sidefooted shots from the edge of the area for me. Loser. Best form of defence is attack etc etc....

A couple of same problems still exist with PES3

a) passing to a player you never wanted to pass to, in other words I aim a pass to a player and for some reason that gets ignored, passes to another player, possession lost...

b) inevitable goals, you can usually tell that no matter what you do that the opposition will score, this was so obvious in PES2 and it looks that way on this one too, i think you may know what i am talking about here

a) maybe the player you are trying to pass to is too close to another player. Pressing in the direction of the player you want to pass to always gets it there for me - unless the opposition intercept it. Hardly ever goes to the wrong player for me. Maybe experiment with the manual pass.

b) Sometimes you see their dribbles will end in a goal. You have a choice to make a dirty foul to stop them! :)

why is it so hard to get shots from outside the box on target?
i tap the shoot button and it aint hard enough or goes wide.
then when i put about enough power in it goes over.
is there another way of getting the ball on target from outside the box anyone.( zygalski )

I am gonna reserve judgement on it, it is too hard on 5 stars for me, when i score i think the game is great, when i dont...which is often, i think it is the most infuriating game ever, and that bloody stutter bug better be fixed, otherwise its time for the pro evo series to come to the xbox i think

Remember bud if you are playing the demo, all your players have maximum poor condition arrows so will be crappie at everything,

You guys going on about Heskey,
Does he still have that "Post Player" star?
What the hell does it mean by the way?

Something bout improved play round the box?

PES3 isn't as easy to score in as PES2 and normal shots from 6 yards away from goal can sometimes be missed by the best strikers - apparently for no reason.

I've scored quite a lot of goals from outside the area in WE7 and PES3 beta, but you have to choose your moments and not expect there to be the same 'sweet spot' as in PES2. We just have to get used to the new shooting system.

Heskey is just Heskey. He did one good piece of work last night, beat a defender and placed a diving through ball to Owen who dribbled past the keeper for a tap in. Very nice goal -shame it wouldn't let you save the replays.
Normally I don't play Heskey even on good form but when he's on crap form, he's really awful.

In the demo, the crowd sometimes goes totally silent which is quite weird.

Nothing to add bar the fact that even stores in Central London have limited copies which still haven't arrived or have sold out....this is stoooopid......will try again today

Get up there done it scored 2 and guess what heskey them both 1st a volley about 10 yards out and then a header of a cross but i couldn't stop them dam argies from getting 2 as well crespo right on the whistle to make it 2-2.
I think ill register this anyways as i did score 2 and had quite a bit of poss ;)

Hey fu*k fu*k fu*k can't register on the site don't say they are gonna take the piss with this now :confused:

Hey gaz dude. Patience. I'm sure you can get a 2-0 or a 3-0 with a few more attempts. I'm going to wait till the last available couple of days before registering. At least we'll know what kind of scores we're going to be competing against. I'm holding out for a 3-0. Not really expecting that much luck to win it 4-0.

With the national league qualifying I think I am best compared to Liechtenstein- I wont get anywhere near qualifying and I will just be happy to score a goal.

I got the demo from my local game yesterday it is very good however, the stutter bug does piss me off slightly and ive also noticed that if u go2 play next match the crowd effects will then just turn off during the game. I was also wondering does the PES3 beta version also have the stutter bug?
