I totally understand mate but the default ball in the final version is pretty good and theres always the shop to buy balls , the ball used is a addidas sponsered champ ball ;)

I've gotten the impression that there is only ONE ball in PES3 and NONE to be bought in the shop.. :confused:

PES3 better than WE7

I have just been playing PES3 (final retail version) for about 10 hours with a mate and it is great. The graphics & gameplay are identical to WE7 apart from there is now a champions league style ball, Peter Brackley and Trevor (yawn) Brooking doing the commentary instead of the guy from my chip shop . Just started the Master League on the default setting and it's damm hard you guys! The majority of the Italian strips look great (see AC Milan) but a few of the other ones could have been done a little better (Man U for instance) but this is probably down to licensing issued. Anyway, to sum up, PES3 is WE7 but better cos you can understand it!!

Oh & the 'jerky' issue is sorted in the final version!

I think that they should stop discussing patching this that & the other then as well (hmm...do we patch ps2 titles that we buy from the shop?).

Oh I guess you go to the shop, buy your game, do a 'back up' copy and then patch it ensuring that you keep the original so as to ensure that you do not break any law then?

Ok whatever. I 'bought' WE7 from an 'Importer' and patched it up. Good game - PES3 is also good although I don't seem to be able to find any shops online selling the final PES3 (English) yet but somehow some people on this forum seem to have it. Can this be obtained legally from an Importer then yet? Hmm..

I have PES3 the final version, some stores have had it in stock since the beginning of the week but aren't allowed to sell it till the release date.

And you will find online shops having it in stock, Play.com for example.

I doubt whether shops have received their copies yet with the release date being 3 weeks away. I could PREORDER it on Play.Com but this would still mean a lengthy wait as they are not allowed to distribute it until the official release date (31st Oct) otherwise Konami would kick their battys. I also have PES3 and I suspect I got it from the same place you did so we'll just leave it at that shall we? Good game though innit?

The official release date in the UK is 31st October for PES3.
Have a wonder into your local Game store and look at the nice big list they have up. Unless Konami or whoever distributes it have changed their mind in the last 2 days. Even if it is 17th October , explain how people have had this game for several weeks and have been busy patching away?

The version people have had for "several weeks" is the beta version. That doesn't have Juventus licensed and a Champ League Finale ball.

The official date was moved forward to the 17th, next friday. In Norway and other places they are selling it today. I don't know why you said they changed their mind in the last 2 days, its been known for a while its the 17th.

Just because it says 31st in game doesn't mean they're right does it? Look on any site about PES3 and you will see it has been moved forward to the 17th for the UK.

I stand corrected then. My local Game store has been advertising as the 31st for about the last 8 months. I'll be sure to point this fact out to them the next time I am in. When is Fifa coming out then? That'll probably be crap anyway as usual!
