I'm not so sure I believe that article. I've played the beta version and the keepers are still rubbish. RobMcLean's played a more up to date version this week and the keepers are still rubbish in that!

Exactly, FIFA has no tactics so perhaps its now done automatically. It's quite difficult for a 5-year-old to make a substitution, you know?

Just saying i'm not keen on this feature being in PES6.

I am absolutely the same. I am not interested in such feature.........

I checked and automatic tactics are for PES 6.
I can be used or not.
If used, then computer will manage your starting eleven (depending on player performance indicator=arrow system, ratings, ...)and tactics, substitutions during ther game depending of the result.

Regarding keepers performance, i don't know if we can trust the review, they do say that keepers are back to normal, and are a ot better that in the PES6 version released in the beginning of August.
I guess we will have an answer when demo will be released.

Strange ... I got the Offcial PS2 Magazine with the FIFA 07 review and they have given it 9/10. Also seems strange as the OPSM always score out of 10, not 20.

That's what I was thinking when I read this thread. I got the latest PS2 magazine weeks back and it, like you said, gave fifa 9/10, and it didn't say any of that about PES6. Therefore he must have been reading a different mag.

The stuff he posted does sound very good though because it said the kind of things PES5 really needed to improve on.

I think and I'm almost 99% sure the beta is still part of the early release of WE10 and they just renamed it to PES6.

That's why it feels like you are playing the early release of WE10. Just wait until they release the new PES6.

Yes i'm sure it's the Official PS2 Magasine (got the DVD with several demo in it like NFS Carbon, Ace Combat Belkan War, Lego Star Wars 2...), but it's the October release, not september as i previously said. And that's the french one of course.
So maybe the uk guys love FIFA 07 a lot as they gave it a 9/10, and the french ones don't(13/20)...

Correct me me if I'm wrong but I always thought that FIFA would always be in the shadow of PES.

The answer is more than easy, the guy, who wrote the review, had drunk a lot of vodka.....
