Not sure about the option file yet. Will post the latest news in the WE7 Option File sticky thread when I find out anything.

I lost my first match on Extreme mode but everyone does as the default ML players are crap and you're not used to that level of difficulty. You get used to it after a while. I also lost my first ever matches on 5* but the same - practice is good.

Try playing a world cup on 5* and put the following teams in your group. One crap one like China, one medium one like Nigeria/Turkey/Belgium and a great team like Italy/Brazil/Holland/France etc. I think you should be able to make it through OK. You know you'll have to work hard against the best teams! In WE7, it seems that the World (/or other) cups don't let you choose your schedult of matches like you could in PES2/WE6:FE. Normally you would play the team on the left first and move to the right but in WE7 it seems to be random - a new challenge!!

Thanks, I´m gonna check this out Zy, I must be more patient I think, I´ve lost a couple of games on extreme, but it´s normal. It´s time for a new challenge.
Have you already got a penalty for handball ?

What I understood after several matches is that to score a goal you have to make more moves and dribles to get free in order to have a good shoot, or to act more as a teamk than in previous games

My first impressions of WE7 is that I think its an absolute wonder of a game, no matter what you expect Konami seems to better it with the best football sim to date.
Although one thing gets to me the goalkeepers don't look to good, they never seem to hold onto balls and headers are rarely saved and if they are they are always parried

Have ya tried the header thing already Zy ? I tried to play World Cup on 5 star, was good in the group stage with France, beating Czech Rep. and Senegal both 4-0 and China 3-0. Then I had to play againt France, was quickly leading from a Wiltord goal 1-0, but then Henry got injured (red cross, looks pretty cool btw), and Brazil scored twice, with an own goal header by Gallas. Had 11 shots in the second half against 1 of Brazil but it didn't help, Cisse and Trezeguet wasted all and I lost. Anyway can't wait till the patch comes out to play ML on extreme.

I think there are only 5 stars of difficulty for ML so maybe there's no extreme mode.
Thanks for reminding me for the headers. I'll try it right now.

I haven't been able to notice any difference to the headers with holding or tapping shoot. The player seems to do what he wants in each situation. How about some new opinions from others who have checked it too.

they should have let the extreme mode in as its more challanging.

5* is challenging for most people as it is.
International matches on 5* are getting quite easy when you use a good team.
Maybe 5* in ML will be as tough as extreme? We'll just have to try it and see.

I don't think it is possible to edit the ML players as no-one has managed to do it so far and everyone is complaining about it. Hopefully a patch will sort out the names for us.

Which movie are you after?
Try a search for "video" maybe.

My first impression is that WE7 is very groovy and when it becomes PES3 (for us lesser mortals) it will be a worthwhile purchase for sure.

see this 1 player thing that you control one player, whats it like? is it annoying or good? and does that mean the goals you score it can be from a team mate instead of YOU!

I know some guys from German PES forums that have played a 100 % ready version of PES3 at the "Games Convention", and they say it´s completely the same except the speed which is a little bit slower on PAL-games. Even the menus and music seem to be the same.
