Offside rule in WE9/PES5

Hi, I did a search through the forum, but I couldn't find an answer to this; has the new offside ruling been implemented into the latest incarnations of the games(ie Interfering with play/not interfering with play...)?

This is something me and a few mates always bring up while playing PES 4, as I for one would like to see it.

I think it will be hard to put in the game because you will almost allways get control over the player nearest to the ball... For example, when you play a long ball and your attacker is just on is way back...you can try what you want but you allways end up getting control over the player who is wandering offside... Maybe they should just change that...

Did anyone else notice the yellow line for shown for offside in all the replays is not shown correctly? Not sure how to describe it, but it is not always correct...

yep its in the game it waits for ure player 2 get near the ball and the blows the whistle
if u use r1 and r2 2 run away from the ball the offside dont get called

I say: I think i know what your on about.. when you get called offside in PES4 .. the replay shows the last incident.. with your man apparently being called offside.. but the yellow line and angle of the replay isn't right so you can't see when the ball is being played and when the player your controlling or passing to has made his run.. its usually the angle of the replay.. quite often its the offsides that are called on the left or right wing that causes most of the replays..

Sometimes when playing pes.. my guy isn't even offside he's level with the marker making his run and he's still flagged offside.. but hey thats football.

When you touch the ball with the player who was offside, the ref blows the whistle. Use super cancel to mov you're player away from the ball to ovoid the whislte.

cool; I was thinking more along the lines of multiplayer, where the ball could be hoofed forward, one dumbass is in an offside position, but another player gets the ball...in PES4; was still an offside.

there r time when the offside calls r bogus.. on corners, when the WB r under the posts, they mysteriously dont count soh yur player becomes offside... AND when I have two players pass the defenders, and curl it into the striker in the box, the line of the ball doesn't count its sill the defender.. but that has been in all of the w11 and pro evs i've played
