Offsides ruining my game

Just wondering if any other gamers are finding the new offside a struggle to get round. The computer teams seem to play very defensive and sit very deep and when it is time to get in behind the constant offsides keep interupting the game. It is not only my players but the computers too. Any idea how to get round this, through different formations. I currently play 3-5-2 attacking.

yeah man, i have the same problem. I get caught offside at least 3 times every game. I guess you just need 2 learn each time, ive found that if you check the player radar when u have the ball u know when to pass the ball or not.

For your attack:
If you want to avoid getting your players off-side, then play your forwards a bit deeper and do one-twos through the computer's defence.

For your defence:
If you don't want the computer to be off-side (for some reason), then play your defenders a bit deeper and make your defence and attacking arrows face your own goal. - This will also minimise the computer's forwards getting through passes past your defenders, leaving them with one-on-one situations.

Yep look at the radar before you pass the ball and that should help you loads plus sometimes you pass it without thinking and you know your miles offside use the R1+R2 and run your player away from the ball and the defender will get the ball and the whistle will 'not' go then you can play on with the game and try and tackle the defender.

i hate it when you're guy is dead in-line on the replay apart from his big toe, the linesmen are far to accurate, some descisions would never happen in football

True, true, but radar always works for me.

Ok, well I think this is a silly complaint. Assuming we all want our game to be realistic, you have to expect to get caught offside sometimes. In a real game, teams often get caught offside way more than 3 times a game!

yeah offsides are bad on this game. Last nite i was playing as chelsea i passed the ball down the wing to robben who was onside side becus 1 of the oppostion players on the far side was playing him on but apperntly i was ruled offside when i was clearly 5 yards on side:realmad:
