Online attitude?

33 myself, so in the OB category, I have managed to avoid these idiots, well until tonight that is, got one fool "JulherasBra" calling me shit, bullshit and haha when ever I did something not quite right, and to be honest it bugged me, so much I grabbed a pen and wrote is name down, the good thing is I beat his ass. About two games after I got another fool "San_saturmino" (LOL well I already had the pen next to me) who went 1-0 up when he was hosting the first half and in the second I scored two to win the game, then the abuse started rolling in, claiming that I was causing lag to win the game, and saying you black shit which spooked me a bit being black and all, started wondering did he have a different setup to me so he could see! I had lag the first half but I didn't accuse him of anything!

By the way, played some excellent guys online, Gametime, Bamster, Naj, and many more, it is shame you are limited to how many friends you can have in your list, I am nearly full already!

But, for the benifit of the doubt, maybe they are trying get the banter going only for it to be lost in translation; I know I would have trouble in another language.

Just wanted to say I'm so glad to hear there are 30+ year old's addicted to PES. I thought I was an old git but I'm only 25!!!

That's the beauty of Football, and PES in general - it can be enjoyed by any one regardless of nationality, race, or age (maybe more PES than football for the older generation).

I love banter but there's no excuse for someone calling you this that and the other.

Some guy on here attempted to give me stick on here a while back when I was attempting to diffuse a situation, think he appropiately named himself toss.

I just gave as good as I got, although I wouldn't recommend that's the best way to deal with these idiot's. But then I don't think these same people would say that to you if they were to see you in the street.

It seems as if konami did not predict people would be so vulgar with their messages. Some system of blocking rude words should perhaps have been implemented. Or people being able to block all messages? If players are allowed to abuse each other then they may as well allow diving and players fighting and arguing with the ref.......

Still, it's a learning process for them and hopefully PES6 will be better!

What if 9 or 10 year olds were playing, and saw all the swearing and stuff. I take the point that people swear on tv and on the streets all the time, but still doesn't make it a good thing.

Konami should have a monitoring system on the chat facility - but they are probably really busy just trying to keep the servers running, due to all of us trying to get on all the time.

This guy was swearing to me right from the start of our game - and he took the lead shortly after the kick off. I was gutted, and he was bragging throughout the whole match.

Ended up chasing back 4 goals - beating him 4-1.

That shut him up - so ended up leaving this message to him

areet mates just had to write about this guy i played last night.well we started without any banter and he scored the 1st goal and im thinking hes quite good and all of a sudden up pops fuck u!!!!!!!.so im thinking what the hell is he swearing at me for.play begins and im pumped for this one so i create a chance and im thru on goal and he chops me down.now useually the refs arnt the strictest but bless him in this game decides to send the defender for an early bath much to my delight.so its half time im 1 nill down and a man up.and decide to ask my opponent about his outburst and he just says go,go get on with it.so i do as im told and totaly dominate this bum the equaliser goes in and i just dont say anything,then the 2nd goes in and hey presto what happens on the restart connection lost come up.
i look and im awarded the game 3-0.

mumpleaser saw you on last night but then you just disapeared.i can never find any insight vets.

It annoys the hell out of me!!

I have to agree with all or certainly most of you guys, I'm 29 and I've played amateur/semi-pro football for over 20 years and i'm the first to admit that my tongue has got me into a lot of trouble on the pitch (and cost me a fortune), however some of the abuse I've been given online is disgusting, I've had racial abuse, people slagging off my family and allsorts!!

What annoys me the most is that it really winds me up and I can't concentrate on the game as I would normally. What I've started to do is if someone scores to go 1-0 up I'll get in quick with a 'nice one' or 'great goal' message hoping that if I am playing a foul-mouth reprobate that he'll think twice about spewing his foul mantra.

I guess it's maybe down to an age thing, kids these days have little respect for anyone online or offline. And whilst I'm the most patriotic guy I know I seem to get the most abuse from the English - although saying that the worst racist message was off a German!!

Anyway that's vented my frustration, most of the online community are quality and it's always a pleasure win, lose or draw - scrub that 'it's always a pleasure to WIN'!! Handle - Mog

I once was playing someone who was 1-0 up at half time, got to the half time menu screen and I said "You're a lucky bastard, lol" to which he then decided to retaliate against by telling me to fuck off, i was a cunt, etc. Don't get me wrong, maybe what I said sounded a bit harsh, but the lol should mean he takes it as a joke! I know I would.
Even when I score against people (if I do that is!) they may tell me I'm a lucky fucker (as one person once did), but one of my pre-defined sayings is "Sorry man, had to do it". Then at the end of the game they are like good game, well played. Maybe if you just suck up what is said to you, the opponent will realise that you are not concerned with insults, but the beautiful game of football!

So....some of you even reply to those irritating kids? That's nice. Personally, I say nothing to those people. At the beginning of the game a quick:'Good luck, have fun' and depending on the reply I talk during the game.

What's the fun for those brats when you say ABSOLUTELY nothing? Not a word. Not when you score, not when they score, not when you win, not when you lose. Nothing. For the kid on the other side of the connection it will be like talking to a wall. Damn boring.
