Online cheatering problem, what can we do?

whats the message when you get online these days. something about players racking up wins in a dubious way or the like. I can't remember exactly what it says so if anyone knows then post it here.

I was playing Italy v England and I (Italy) was down 1 nil from first half. I took my time and passed and passed and got the equalizer and then the winner in second half stoppage time. The gimp I was playing disconnected on me. Sore loser or what?

I go down the wings but always endeavor to either send in a cross on have a long shot on the angle. However, as soon as my opponent does a dirty cut back against me, then it is open season and I will do as many as I can

If you dont like people going down the wings all the time, strick your full backs out wide and man mark his wingers.

You cant have it both ways. You cant have loads of attacking players in your team and moan that you have no defenders to stop people scoring! Use the old grey matter and adjust your formation. If that fails just foul the hell out of them!

Yeh i go down the wings too sometimes but what i meant was i NEVER run in the box and cut it back, i do what you do, cross it in the air or shoot.

Ye it came on about a week ago and does so every time i log on.

Something about players amassing wins in an inappropriate manner etc. It ends with 'play hard, play fair'. I don't understand it though. I doubt people are gaining wins unfairly; i suspest it's aimed at those who swear and behave badly in general while playing.

its childish behaviour... one guy was hovering over an Italian team so i picked arsenal... he then quickly went Costa Rica... Brazil in 0.2sec

I still whooped his ass and during the 3rd goal replay.... blah blah has left the room :|

I'm sure I played against the same twat!! I went into Quick match & chose Man U - having never played with them before & wanted to see if it was worth entering an online pesrankings league tourney as them.

Anyway I get a Div 1 Spanish player - no probs with that - who I thought was going to pich AC Milan but went to the far right of the top row of the Italian teams (Inter??) & once I'd selected "Man Red" he flicked over with two presses of R1 to Brazil.

I didn't give a monkeys as I was more interested in how I'd could play with Man U & not the result. Anyway, 0-0 at half time and we turn around so he hosts. At the first break break in play he pauses and runs the clock right down - resumes play and does exactly the same thing again. "Annoying little s***" I thought.

The game then freezes on zero (his free kick) & my router lights are going crazy - a signal that I'm still connected & the penny drops what he's doing.

Its the old "freeze-the-gane-&-wait-for-em-to-disconnect" trick. So I left the console, went to make some dinner & watched some telly. After 40 mintues he finally disconnected - so 3-0 to me. It was one of the most satisfying results I'd had in a long time. Little twat!!!

TShill, the same thing happened to me just yesterday!

Was playing some guy in Div 1 and after about 5 mins of extra time i finally scored the first goal of the match. Funny thing was, no sooner had the ball hit the net did the game freeze, but there was crowd noise and everything. I thought after a minute or so the 'the connection was lost' message would appear, but no.

I went downstairs, and after like an hour went up to find it was still frozen. I decided it most likely wasn't my opponent's fault and just turned it off. I haven't logged back on to see who the loss counted against though...

There are a lot of twats playing online. If they aren't always using Brazil and AC Milan, they abuse you and if you are winning they quit.

To find people who are more human (and also willing to play with lesser teams), play against other forum players in server 03 03.

Where is this server? I was playing someone who was juventus and I was morocco and they got an early goal, but I cam back to 1 - 1. I was on top for the whole rest of the game but took till 73mins to score. Unfortunately I couldn't find a winner. Unfortunately everyone always is the big teams online.

I would like to play people who are fair and will be smaller teams, who are in it for the "fun", not the twatishness. I have the game on pc so that might be why I don't see the server. If anyone is up for it, pm me or something We should have a pc players thread thing to go with the ps2 one

I had a match last night against a guy that was hovering over Peru until I chose England before he quickly swiped Brazil. No worries really just unnecessary.


I was al over him in the first half and I scored 2 without letting one in. The second half started fine and again I was the better player. Then, all of a sudden, he must have turned his computer on or somehow created so much lag that I couldn't even move my players. I was powerless. My players moved 2 metres at a time with a seconds pause in between.

Guess what happened? He scored three 'pull back' goals and beat me. Frustrating is not the word.

Peru vs England is hardly fair - he probly changed cos of that. I can't condone choosing brazil though, but still, England and Brazil have good players and are much more evenly matched than peru and england, so don't complain. It's when you have a team of shit players that can't score yet the other team has really good ones so can get a long range goal and stuff that fucks me off.

ive only recently started the online games and found everyone i go up against to be ok.ive played something like 20 odd games and only in one game i found that i was getting hammered,i was ac v barca and he was shit hot best ive ever come up against although i started well scoring in the 1st few minutes and then the goals came flooding in it finished 5-1 to him and although i was losing heavily not once did i think about turning it off i just sat back and admired his play and wondered how i could counter act his style so i pressed play again with different teams and he stayed with barca and i went for chelsea i won 2-0 and missed a pen(never score) revenge was sweet i played a little more defensive 4-5-1 counter attack.3rd game he won 2-1 with a last min goal.very enjoyable games even though i got hammered in the 1st one.

i went in room 03 03 last night i there was about 20 poeple in there just talking so i asked if anyone wanted a game and just got ignored eventually i got one and in total had 4 games in about 1 hour 15 mins.

i cant understands poeple frustrations with opponents using good teams i mean they are there for us all to use so why not.if your a good player then choose a lesser one if you want more of a challenge.i dont mind who i go up against.
