Online Competitions

I haven't been able to join a competition online since PES2010 came out, every time I try it says the competition is closed even though I can see there is 0/100 in. What am I doing wrong, do I have to get in really early before everyone else.
Also when I set up a community game online why can't I invite a friend to it.. the invite button is greyed out.

Online PS3 competition

Did you get any help mate? Was lucky to join a competition, got through to knockout but then I played one quarter final and won before it wouldn't let me play any more matches. What's worse is I'm now not able to join another competition as it says I'm currently in one- 3 days later! Can't quit it or leave it either so any help much appreciated!

As to getting in the comp in the first place I joined just after the start time and didn't seem to have a problem getting in- you know you have to join after the time given?. Don't know how to invite either but if your friends go to 'join/ceate a community' and do a search they could find and join yours, that's the only way I know to set it up

You need to get there just in time...

When you see a championship above there in the screen its the time when the competition begin... in your local time ( if you configured right your machine)...in that time...go to the championship option and get in the competition... it begin automatically and in real time.

Bye. (but anyone play with Barza/Madrid...its really a shitt)

Thanks lads, I only found out how to join after hours searching through forms on how to join a competition, it's pathetic really that you buy a game and the book has no instructions on how to join comp. I still can't get any friends to join my community online either it's ridiculous.
