Online - it's a different game?!

Bit of a rant...
What the hell is wrong with online games?
It's slow, un-responsive and frankly pile of crap!
Sometimes I have to push the pass or shoot button multiple times before anything happens!
Not only that, nearly every team I play against contains Lionel Messi! I consider myself to be quite good at this game, but the online gaming is awful!

I'm just wondering if anyone else feels the same?

Oh, and I can not stand those annoying people who insist on not only watching a replay of a goal twice, but also the celebration of the goal which goes on for 30 seconds! Push the fucking start button!

That's online my friend. Its a different kettle of fish compared to offline. You either man up or step out. It's not easy reaching the top, so slag the players who have messi in their team all you want, but the bottom line is most of them had to earn the right to possess him in their team through many games and wins.

Lagging can be a problem but it's no where near as bad as last year's which was unplayable. I may play 2 games out of 10 where there is delay/lag.

As for the replays/celebrations it's all apart of the fun and banter. Deal with it.

well i live in the states and most of the time the lag is manageble for me but what i really hate about online game is how people play the game.

there was one guy i played with today literally took me 20+ minutes to finish a 10 minutes game. paused at every free kicks, throw balls, corners etc. during the half time i asked him very nicely if he could push the game a bit faster and guess what? he paused for 2 minutes @ next corner and started to watch every replays he had. what the hell? i used "please"!!!!!

there was another one. i socred a own goal in the 10th minute and he started to pass the ball around in his half just so he could win the game and get good points from me. (the game has 80 minutes to go, really?) luckily i managed to win the game but it was another bad experience for me and i have to say it's pretty normal for online games and it really annoys the hell out of me.

and don't get me started on the cheaters!

ps: change the name of the game to 'pass to messi/ronaldo/arshavin and run to score' cos thats what it appears to be online

I find it amazing how every other week there is a new nationality that's supposedly the sole culprit for ruining online experience.

First there was the mexicans, then the japs. and now the koreans. Who's next the french? But of course the english and americans don't cheat do they?

No suprise you're a liverpool lover that you want to blame koreans for ruining your experience even though you've only managed to highlighted two incidents that happen with players coming from other countries.

Heh i really love pro... But online makes me mad almost every time i play... Lag like hell in most of the games, many noobs watching all of their replays, cheaters, guys that pause when they lose in k2 and just need 5 mins to go for the round of 16...(But mainly lagging pisses me ) Its annoying!!! Also why the hell koreans japanese brazilians etc buy pro and ruin the gaming of the others!!!! I was in k2 with 11 people, played 6 matches, and only one of them didnt lag(the only european!)... But i still being patient...:/

Well good on you for editing your post and realising your mistake instead of trying to justify it.

I made that comment because liverpool fans are not the sharpest tools in the shed and don't tend to think before opening their mouths.

Unfortunately, having manners rarely makes a difference to the way people treat you. Sometimes, if you ask them to pick a smaller team, they will. Other times they will tell you fuck off.

I don't think I've ever played any Japanese or Korean people online. I played one guy who was Scottish-Japanese.... does that count?? Seem to remember him being an alright bloke.

Every nationality is as bad as each other. Obviously you have folk from the middle-east that tend to pick the big teams, but to be fair, they've got nobody from their own country to pick. But English people are just as bad. I've seen as many English people picking Real/Barca (even though they have comments in their profile such as "Toon Army till I die etc". All in all, nationality does not define whether you are a tosspot or not :laugh:

I've played against a few japs and they've given me a proper exciting game where they've played with imagination instead of trying out the same shithouse goals that are easy. You know those players who try a lob through ball from the half way line. Or run down the byline and abuse the triple tap cross. Or the one-two kids.

So it's rubbish saying japs or koreans are culprits for cheating or providing for a bad experience.

I've played english cowards who've scored early then reverted to playing 5-4-2 formations or paused the game until the tournament time expires so the match ends up being abandoned. Same with spanish players.

There was also a guy from france that I played three times who made the lag out in all the games we played just because he was about to lose. I'm not going to then say watch out for the french online.

Theres nothing wrong with response online!!!
I've heard a few people complaining about this who constantly have response issues.This is just down to your connection end of.I've had a few matches like this when it's unresponsive usually against people from Asia.It is horrible and can understand how frustrated you must be if it's like this for you all the time.Online is what keeps me coming back to this game specifically MLO.Offline is fucking a scripted pile of shite on top player .
Are you new to pes online? 99% of people will always use the games best players because there shit and makes them feel like they are a bit tasty at the game.

I hadn't seen any differences in online gameplay until I got the deflated ball icon because of cheaters and stopped playing.
