News coming out of Asia reports that this year's Winning Eleven 8 update, scheduled for release this coming spring, will feature live play on the Playstation 2. The game is titled Winning Eleven 8: Live-Ware Evolution, and as usual with these infamous Konami updates will feature tweaked gameplay and updated stats. But before you all get too excited, the online play will only be available to Japanese players due to the subscription system. The game will however feature 6 language options, making it all the more tempting for Europeans to import the game to play on their modified consoles.

Despite this meaning gamers in Europe will still be unable to play Online with the PS2, it is encouraging news for Pro Evolution Soccer 5.

Winning Eleven 8: Liveware Evolution is scheduled for release on March 24th 2005.

PES3 - not online at all.
PES4 - online on pc and xbox.
PES5 - online on PS2, pc and xbox.

rite well ive tried pes4online and pes4launcher, started up a game wit sum1 but then wen it tries to connect ingame it either says waiting or unable to connect. Im not behind a router an my xp firewall is switched off. Any ideas?
