Played online since the game come out but have a problem. A while back i got to the "select player profile" part after logging in and nothing would happen, game just froze. I deleted all my saved games etc and it solved the problem. However it is doing it again and have tried everything but cannot get online, any ideas?

Can log in fine but when it gets to the bit where you select which profile you want to play with it just does nothing.

This is driving me mad. Left it for about 15 minutes last night it then just says "an error has occured"
Just dont get it, it is obviously happy with my net connection as it lets me verify my code and password.

I don't think it's a common problem try contact Konami or Sony about it.
Good luck mate, as I can imagine that will drive you nuts.

hi mate, this happened to me once last month....I went back to the ps3 main screen and went to settings.....internet/network settings and inernet connection test. This just basically resets your connection (as im sure you know) but it seemed to do the trick for me.
