I don't understand how when I win I gain less points than when I lose. Even when playing higher ranked players. Example... Im ranked 565 playing a guy who's ranked 615. I beat him 4-1 (I'm Milan, he's Barca)... I gain 9 pts to 574, he loses 8 pts down to 607. Then I play a guy who's ranked 535... I tie 0-0 (I'm Inter, he's Real) I lose 14 points :shocking: and he gains 8.... HUH?? WHAT??? How is that possibly fair? Konami has to make changes to their online rankings, they don't seem right the way they are!

Think it depends on your ranking compared to the opponent AND the strength of the 2 teams

so if u pick Barca (who apparently is PES default team! lol) and he beats u with say....Tottenham
he may gain more...
even a draw in his favour will help him more if he is lower in ranking than u

the points u gain or loss its for u one number and its a different one for the other player
for example i be all 2011 better than 600 and i be 3 periods more than 700 (like 3 or 4 weeks total. the best was 730 and ranked 14 of the world). now im between 680-90.
example: if i play with a "bad" player (imagine that we all start in 500 at the begining and a "bad" player can be less than that number) and win i only gain 2 points, if draw i loss between 13-18 points, and if he defeat me i loss more or less 30 points...thats becoz if u are more than 600 u MUST win the matches with the lower ranked people with a big difference (50-100 difference).
then if i play with a guy who is ranked between 550-600: if i win i gain 3/4 points, if its a draw i loss 7/8 points and if i loss it can be 12-18 points
when u are better ranked u DONT HAVE to be defeated, and try to win all games. for example u can see ur last 20 games - in my case for be in in high level for months i have to 1 or 2 games defeated, the same with draws and then the rest are victories
