It's all a matter of taste, if you prefer more licenses and less playability, go for FIFA, if you prefer an awesome playability and less players, then PES is your game.

I think editing it's a big bonus for pes series.. So I'll go for it..
Hoping that edit mode will be good enough... and that they put the "three stripes" back replacing that odd of pes2008...

for the first time since before pro evo 1 i will buy fifa this year as well as pro evo

i have to admit me and my mate have had some real good fun with the fifa 09 demo and the more we play it they better it feels and thats only a shit 2min demo

cant wait to play pes though and am sure pes will win over in the end

but i am more looking forward to be a legend mode as master league never chnages year in year out its exsactly the same format and gets boring.

also champ league mode should be awasome too in pes

all im saying is dont write fifa off without giving a good play first

and this is all coming from a die hard pes fan for over 10 years

Is the 09 version in any way slower than the current pes 2008? if it is it will prove much better.

The Pace is Significantly Slower, thing is that the Arcadish Player Movements make it look a lot Faster.

Judging by the footage I've seen, I think PES09 will look very arcadish -but- will Play like the Old versions.

I'd rather watch a game of FIFA than a game of PES, but that realism never seems to relate to gameplay.
