On top player they score over 50% free kicks in a good position. THAT IS SO NOT REALISTIC!

I know its top player but konami, dont make it stupid!

Is this annoying anyone?

Depend's who your playing and what player is taking the free-kick, are they good players or just average?

It's made worse by the fact that if you quickly move someone onto the goal line to defend it, they won't head it out - they just let it sail past their ear!

Exactly, if it's good players taking free kicks in goods positions then they will go in (real life and PES).....

However if it's some of the worst players in Europe scoring them on PES, then you're unlikely to be most happy about it. Especially considering free-kick stats don't seem to matter with regards to the CPU as they score well over 50% of them no matter who is taking it.

Yes I like the option of putting more or less people in the wall. its useful because with long free kicks theres always 2 or 3 people in the wall when not necessary so i can remove 2 and have them defend in box :D

I agree on top player s**t teams seem to score all their free kicks. Its absolutely ridiculous not to mention the corners.

i think most epl team i played against in top player difficulties have scored against me in free kicks. This is ridiculous. There no way to defend against it. I tried charging towards them, jump(wall), etc but to no avail.
The only realistic way to counter it, is to score more goals than the opponent :p

i think this is somewhat realistic. but if i get a good position for a free kick its soooo hard to score. are there certain techniques i need to master ?
cause in winning eleven the free kicks are much easier

First of all try searching the forums a bit. What you are asking has like 100 threads that answer your question

But anyway.. For starters I can tell you this

17-23m: I hold down to lessen the power and make sure your power doesn't exceed the half way mark on the power metre. Most times when I get it on the mark it goes in or the keeper saves. But the most important thing is holding down and of course the curl. That's what changed for me. As soon as I started doing this, my freekicks are almost guaranteed goals.
Hold down as the power metre is being filled and then when you have your power set and the player kicks the ball, hold the direction in which you want the ball to curl

23m+ : I don't hold either up or down. Holding up will send it over or blast it into the wall. Holding down is just too weak. Keeper will always get it.

Note: For more accuracy, the power must not exceed the half way mark of the power bar. Try as much as you can to get it spot on the mark. Train, train, train.

I will agree with you almost 100% there, that's exactly what i do.

My slight difference involves the power.

I tend to press square twice, the second time i press it is to get the powere bar slightly above the middle mark.
