option and save files wont load

Hey guys,

im new to these forums so i apologize in advance if this is already posted elsewhere but i dont have time to go through all of the pages of posts.

after playin the game for a good while now i went to play it the other day and i realise when it gets to the press any key screen it starts to ask me what type of player i am beginner, amatuerr, top player etc.

ive found that my save games and option files dont load automatically as they usually did?

does anyone know how to fix this problem?

wel you should go to the system settings in the main screen of the game and load the file....it doesnt load automatically if you just place the file in saved game folder....

I have this problem when I originally use a gamepad plugin but actually forget to plug it in due to the game controller setting in the PES2008 settings.exe (can be found from start menu).

There are many other reasons for this error, there are some solutions in my Championship Thread's first post. Just click on the link on my sig, when loaded scroll down to "Auto Load Solutions". (can use Ctrl+F) to find it easier.

But since you never used to have this problem before, i'm not sure if the solution to your particular case would be there, but it's hopefully worth the try.
