Option File Editor

HAve we all seen this site. http://perso.numericable.fr/~ryannick/

I got my xbox option file. Opened it up with the editor changed a few thigns then saved it transfer it back to me xbox and it says option file damaged.

Anyone know why?

I may be wrong (and often am!) but I think it has to do with the verification process. I belive that some of the other sections contained in the sxv files have a checksum setup. As of yet I haven't found any way round it (because, in all honesty I am a rank amateur lol)!
