Hi, i'm having some problems...

I downloaded an option file onto my max drive, loaded it onto my memory card, made sure the optionfile was there on my memory card.

But when i load PES, i get a message telling me the option file was not loaded and so i have to load it through data control?

What can i do to fix this annoying problem? Thanks.

Yeah, i've tried two different option files, uncrushed them both, but i still get the same problem.

I only have one option file on my memory card at a time so theres no problem there?

Delete any Pro Evo 6 data off the memorycard then try again.

1. Plug the max drive into the PS2 along with the max drive PS2 disc and the memory card, this might not work first time, so just keep trying

2. Go to my devices

3. Click on the max drive icon

4. When it appears select the option file and click uncrush to memory card

5. Exit my devices

6. Go to Settings and click Save changes and exit

7. Reboot PS2

8. Take out max drive and max drive disc and put PES Disc in

I have noticed that my system configuration data isn't saved on my memory card, when it should be, i think? would this have anything to do with it?

What system configuration data? For the PS2 system? Follow the instructions i gave you. If it doesn't work then it might be the memorycard or the Max Drive file you've downloaded.

I bought a new memory card today and it now works fine, so i'm putting the problem down as a corrupted memory card!. Thanks for your advice Messiah!

Try formatting your old mem card (using the max drive software and the Square button) and it should work fine.
