Hi guys, apologies but I'm new to downloading option files etc. But I'm on the internet through my PS3 and I was wondering if there's a straight forward way of getting the option file on to my console or if it can only be done through a desktop computer then transferring it to my PS3. Don't even know if I'm making sense so forgive me if that is the case. Also where do you actually get the option from?! A little guidance would be greatly appreciated. Thanks

Hi everyone new to all this. I looked at th thread about how to transfer option files and just was wondering if i could put rar files on my external hard drive then use usb ports on my ps3 and take stuff off there?? Sorry if it seems stupid!! Cheers.

Extract the files first on your computer then move them to the external HDD.
