Out of date kits

In one of the blogs posted aweek or so ago, it was mentioned about editing and the NEW umbro kit template being in pes 2010 and how the creator was able to make the everton shirt look exactly like the real life shirt

Quote "First of all lets discuss Kits. Like in PES 2009, you have 81 different templates with 4 different layers. While its the same, Konami have updated the templates to accommodate 09/10 designs. So, the new umbro (Everton) and puma designs (Tottenham Hotspur) are easily made.

Another good thing is that the ‘home made’ kits really hold up against the licensed ones. I managed to make the Everton kits for example, and they look as good as the real thing"

my question is will all templates be out of date? in that quote he says 2009/10 season templates, everton are sponsored by le qoc sportif now and not umbro there for it would not be the NEW umbro design but last seasons?

Yh I doubt it too. I was just saying that I wish we could (not hope it will).

Nice idea because it was good to have fronts of shirts at first, but now thats boring and it could be more advanced for the PS3.

I want PNG images on ANY place on the shirts, socks and shorts. It would be cool and we could make perfect kits.

There are so many things that could be done in the edit mode, just image.......................

I think he messed up when he said 'the new Umbro kits' because that quoted post wasnt from that long ago and obviously Everton dont have a new Umbro kit. He probably meant Le Coq Sportif. Saying that, it wouldnt be the first time PES has been instantly outta date would it:rolleyes:.
I certainly hope the kit designs have been improved from last year anyway as i thought the variety was very poor in PES2009 and didnt allow for alot of stuff. Also alot of it wouldnt fit together if you know what i mean. Each design/template should have some variation options. That would open things up a bit i reckon.

Wilst playing the demo I noticed there is a animation built into the shirts! they seem to move better and look much more realistic, just hope the templates have abit of texture rather then just a flat plain colour!

Yeah I admire that so much. Especially since I have a HDTV for my PS3 it does look really amazing. The graphics are amazing and small details make a big difference. Good job Konami :)

My mate has an HDTV too, I convinced him to download the WE/PES2010 demo onto his PS3 and he downloaded it. Now after playing the game so much and seeing the amazing graphics, he has made a desicsion and is getting PES instead of FIFA this year.
He even pre-ordered it 2 days ago.
I told him i'll get him sorted with an option file and stuff lol because he has just come from playing FIFA for past years and so he asked whether you can get real teams and I told him that I can get him an OF to get teams and stuff, so that kinda helped with making the decision to pre-order PES this year.

Good job Konami:)

PS, sorry if I made any spelling/grammar mistakes
