Despite lacking the huge improvements in most of the game aspects, over three million units shipped only in Europe. I think Konami have to keep improving every part of the game starting from the next season to meet Pes fans demands. I don't mean licenses here, I do mean graphics, commentary, sound trax, master league and of course the gameplay which is for sure the field that Konami have succeed in.
PES6 went on sale on October 27 for Xbox 360, PlayStation 2 and PC, and Konami is celebrating a phenomenal launch across Europe. More than three million units were shipped across Europe to meet the demand.
High sales made the game the No.1 title in a number of European territories, including the UK, Konami noting that the title has "enjoyed a significant sell-through increase over last year's game."
"We are delighted that, once again, Pro Evolution Soccer continues to be so well accepted," commented Kunio Neo, President of Konami Digital Entertainment GmbH. "In an industry known for its constant changes, Pro Evolution Soccer is one of the few brands to increase sales year on year".
Pro Evolution Soccer 6 will also be released for PSP in December, with a Nintendo DS version set to ship in January.
