I heard it was possible now to get a photo from your USB-stick and put that in your PS3-game. Anyone knows how to do this?

Im reckon you just take the pic, convert it to a PNG file and then transfer it from USB to PS3 the same way you do with emblems and kit markings. Then go to scan and choose that particular one. I dont know for sure tho. Ive heard its tricky to make it look decent tho plus im not sure if you have to remove the background from the pic first or not. Might try it out today actually so i'll let you know how things pan out if i do.

If you have a PS3 eye then you just match your face up with the markers.
To get to this point, go to edit, face, scan.

Hey, ive been and had a go at it and i can confirm that the method i posted above is correct so follow that if you dont have an eyetoy. Basically take pic, import to some kind of photoshop program, trim around face if you want, save as PNG file, import to USB, then from USB to the PS3's folder with all badges & kit markings, load up PES09, go to create or edit a player, go to head, go to scan, create from scratch, find pic and add it then stretch it into position and edit the players face to match your scan to as close as possible. Done!
I trimmed off all the background on mine but it fades it out anyway. I think i done my pic at 800 by 600 size wise and it was quite small so i had to stretch it alot so id suggest doin it bigger. Its definitely quite tricky to make it look good as well but just keep tweaking it.
So there ya go mate. That should answer your question. Going as helpin you out just cut into my jam time on PES09 a little +rep my way wouldnt go a miss for this but i wont really be offended if you dont:D

u can do it cause ive done it u need to put a picture on a usb connect it to your ps3 save it then cut the picture size down so u see just your face then go to edit mode scan or load cant remember which and u sholud have the picture and u need to put in place so the face is on the model

Player Face Importing, Anybody Done It ?? HELP !

Hi Fellas,

Just wanted to update a few of my teams (Sunderland) player face as some are not good in game, anybody know what I do, can I just get player faces as Jpeg and d/l to hard drive and then upload ??, any help appreciated.

Cesc I would suggest 1024x768... so far this is the only resolution ive got to work with most importing for PES 2009.

@ desconfiad you cant import a picture using a USB stick or off of the hard drive using an Xbox 360.. only the Xbox Live Vision camera can be used.

Did it last night...absolutelt brilliant. I would suggest making the neccessary adjustments to hair first so then whne u are adjusting your face you will see what it looks like...

tried doing it the way you said above but it wont work. do the png files need special names like the music playlist folder etc??? in the option file i downloaded all the face data in that is in seperate folders with really specific names... anybody...

Hey, does anyone know how to get facial hair on pics?
Is there any way at all?
It seems the face pic thing seems like an idea for little kids nd guys with no facial hair cept mayb a moustache really..
It's quite anoyin as i dont look the same without my ''beard'' only if it is a small goatee.. anyhoo i hoped konami would have fixed this as i had the same problem last year :(
